"Came for partners birthday expecting nice cosy hotel. Upon arrival, the front of the hotel is stunning, bar and function rooms are nicely decorated. As we went to find our room, we were greeted with a less pleasant sight. The whole area was in need of lots of work. Mould was covering the walls and ceiling in the corridor and rooms too. Our shower fitting was broken so had to hold the shower head, headboard was unsteady on the bed and ended up falling halfway through the night. The windows either aren’t properly sealed or just not double glazed but our windowsill was a pool in the morning and room was just damp in general. There is a tablet mounted to the wall which does nothing but face a camera at the shower which we found concerning. Just generally dingy and definitely overpriced for what it is. I won’t go into more detail but it’s fair to say we won’t be coming again."

Nice hotel but the staff are discriminating wouldn't let us order breakfast even though they was serving people breakfast still because we wasn't dressed the same as them we are paying customers and shouldn't be treated differently for the way we dress Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1

Casa review Our extended family (17 of us) had Sunday lunch in the restaurant recently. The service provided by staff was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. The quality of the food was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxed. Highly recommended! Food drinks: Superb..and a great deal! Service: 5

Attended an evening wedding reception. Lovely place. Bottom car park could do with resurfacing and needs lighting down there too. But would recommend having an event there. Walkability: Bottom car park needs resurfacing as too many potholes and uneven, hard to walk on. Needs lighting down there too. Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Romantic

We came here for Sunday lunch, four adults and a little person, and I have to say I was very impressed. The Sunday lunch offer for two roast dinners and a bottle of wine is truly outstanding value, and far surpassed my expectations. And the chocolate fondant I had for pudding was fantastic. The staff were brilliant with our little dining companion too. We’ll be back. Service: 5

We were there Saturday 9th Dec for a firm's do. I must say at this time of year veg is fresh but we got tinned carrots and frozen Brussels to go with the turkey. The starter should have been pate but turned out to be a terrine which was so cold. Straight out the freezer I'd say. And the dessert was supposed to be chocolate and coconut pie but not a hint of coconut. All in all a very expensive meal and not worth the money. Service was excellent. Wine. Dancing great but the food was well below par. I hope the firm choose a different venue next year for their staff do.
