"Today I visited honeybees for my lunch and I had a beautiful tasty homemade feta cheese tart with salad new potatoes and coleslaw and it was beautiful there was plenty on the plate and I wish I took a photograph but it looked so yummy I had to get tucked in, also had a pot of Yorkshire Tea for one, here is the Shocking part before I typed MY review, I have read previous reviews and have been shocked at what they have said so here goes... in the past this cafe has had some staff who did not respect or have a clue how to work in a cafe but they are long gone thankfully. If frequent this Cafe regular as is a delightful place 2023. The quirkiness of the decor going back in time and staff most welcoming and friendly and the Owners are friendly and nothing is no trouble. The food is ALL Homemade and made with ingredients source from local shops and every Wednesday from the weekly market. I have NEVER had a bad meal or drink here. As for prices they are set for the quality of the drink you are to drink and the meal you are eating which is homemade and not out of a packet or a microwave meal etc. Remember if you have a complaint grow a backbone and please bring it up to the server or owners and it will be rectified and Please do not voice your views on here or any other trip platform as its rude and not very friendly. Your words could destroy a business THANKFULLY this cafe is Very Busy each day it is open and the Staff are here there and everywhere so be patient they will attend to your needs if you have a limited time mention it to the server who shows you your table. Well that is my rant over. Please be kind to each other and remember Typed words can hurt."

It was ok but they got my order wrong, quite pricey for a bacon butty. Lovely quaint setting though and friendly staff. ..

Excellent scone (grandma’s recipe) and tea out of china cups. Unlike many other cafe/teashops in Knaresborough, it’s open after 4pm and dog friendly.

A real find, we just wanted a coffee, both the 3 cappuccino's and my Mocha were delicious and some of the best coffees we have had in ages. Friendly accommodating staff, most recommended.

Best afternoon tea ever. There was fresh scones, Victoria sponge, ham and coronation chicken sandwiches, fruit cake and cheese, salad and strawberries. Clotted cream and raspberry or strawberry jam for the scones. All homemade and very fresh. The staff were so welcoming! Super pretty inside....

Called here for lunch ,a very pleasant young lady came to take our order .We ordered a light lunch and tea for two. Our food was brought to our table by a lady who obviously didn’t want to be there, attitude was terrible as I had the audacity to ask for a sauce .Salad garnish was brown on the edges. No salt and pepper on table or offered . Very poor food and expensive .Afraid to say worst lunch we have had in a long time,so will not be back View menu

From walking in and the warmth and welcome I knew I had chosen well, we were greeted by a very friendly waitress who immediately made us feel at home, I asked if our cockapoo Harry was ok to come in and she replied of course, we sat in the window so harry wouldnt disturb other diners, the waitress gave us timer to get settled before coming over, we asked for scones tea and coffee and a dog bowl for harry so he could have a drink, we were seen to promptly, friendly and it was spotlessly clean, warm, inviting and the scones were gorgeous thank you 5

Came here for lunch with my young daughter. I wanted a fry up but I am pregnant therefore I asked the young waitress if the eggs are lion stamped. She looked and me I said I dunno. I asked if she could check. Another older lady came out and asked what I was talking about. (The young lady stood behind her and they were both staring at me). I explained (relunctantly as others were listening) that I was pregnant and can’t eat undercooked eggs unless they are lion stamped. The older woman said I’ve never heard of that. I honestly did not know what to say. I asked again if they were lion stamped and she said no we get them from a farm and repeatably said I’ve never heard of this. I felt like I wa...

"all those people who leave 1 star (or low star reviews) have either extremely high expectations or just have to be out to harm the call of a gem of a sandwich shop. I stopped yesterday, was late for lunch to my surprise and joy that they were still open, was a waiting queue to eat, so I might have been happy that they thought they would do 1 more order. I had the cheese-cutney sandwich couldn't resist the Scotch egg with black pudding. the Scotch egg was phenomenal, black pudding mixed with the sausage meat, a soft egg yolk practically still runny, which I really did not expect to add only to the already large aromene, the egg comes with a small pot homemade brown sauce (ketchup is an option, but I prefer brown soße) also the soße is a normal but it is a manifestation, it is a the sandwich was ineffective, thick-cut cheese on a homemade roll with homemade chutney (I suppose when everything else was made home) filled with fresh salad, I am curious what the difference between this is the ploughman’s, as it was in the round a ploughmans sandwich. the brot, cheese salad were all fresh taste amazing, the chutney transformed it, was like a cross between chutney salsa like the brown sauce was more sweet without much flavor, but really a great amount taste to what was possibly the best sandwich I had ever had! well made youngs, eating is great a try worth. reasonably also consider that it is the center of harrogate."
