"Service terrible was told we had come at a bad time as it was staff change over. 4.30 on a Sunday afternoon pre booked and the restaurant was dead, in fact apart from some very drunk people at the bar we were the only ones in there. Offerd 1 drink throughout our whole visit, table left uncleared, service very slow never even came to ask if our food was ok. Eaten here several times, never experienced this. Bit of a cheek to add service charge to the bill when it was so poor hence we declined to pay this charge."

Fairly quiet in the restaurant on a Thursday evening, but good food: the lamb and the bouillabaisse, good wine and good, friendly service.

Overall it was disappointing, service felt perfunctory and the food was bland. We loved the wine and cheese board but starters and mains were bland and under seasoned, not worth the price tag.

This is now one of our favourite places to eat. The quality of food is consistently excellent, the service is generally very good and the place has a good ambience. Sunday lunch on Fathers Day was hectic so service wasn’t as good but the meal was excellent.

First time for Sunday lunch, absolutely delicious. We had prawn cocktail to start followed by a deliciously tender Roast Beef with a huge yorkshire put and lovely roasted veggies, we saw some deserts going to other tables which looked amazing but with a starter sadly we had to refuse : Would highly recommend. Atmosphere was great, lively with a buzz without being too load to have a conversation. Service was excellent and attentive. Well done West Park we will be back!
