"If you want a culinary experience that transports you back in time, you cannot miss the ancient Hostaria della Rosa. This restaurant, located between the ancient castle Anguillara and the subsequent extensions of the Riario family, is a real gem. The renovation of the premises has been conducted with an eye attentive to the history: during the excavations have emerged throws, of which one visible directly from the floor through a glass! The atmosphere is made even more suggestive by the presence of an ancient oven and a pillar to cruise and arches and times to sail. Even in the ladies' bathroom, a glass reveals a small vintage cistern. Despite being small, exquisite food and staff, always smiling, makes the experience even more enjoyable. Thanks to Paola's brief narrative, we also discovered the fascinating history of the place. For us at FAI, it was an unforgettable lunch full of good cuisine and history that surrounds every corner of this charming Hostaria."

Located in a alley of Caprarola is a typical restaurant that recalls medieval costumes. The appetizers and the first are delicious, but the second of meat was not the maximum of goodness.

we happened casually in this tavern during a high lazio hike. simple but pleasant environment; clean toilets and very well maintained. excellent dishes (griciarola super.) the owner is affable is very kind.

After a long visit to Palazzo Farnese, characteristic local in a medieval cellar. We enjoyed an appetizer with cheeses and really delicious bruschetta meats and a fantastic ice cream. The friendly and helpful owner.

Trattoria in the heart of Caprarola in the basement of an ancient palace, poor menu with few local specialties.... non-excellent execution cmq with good ingredients. Cantina also just enough. Service a bit lacking...maybe due to a celebration of a thick group. Honest prices.

we came here with a nice group of friends and children and the organization was perfect! appetizer of local meats and cheeses, mixed bruschettes, really greedy griciarola. soft and greasy grilled meat, wet boar, baked potatoes and vegetables, all with rustic flavors as once. homemade desserts and a very kind and helpful owner made this lunch pleasant and remember. a cellar selected in the territory to accompany the meal. friendly local, young, courteous and discreet staff, right account for quality. We'll definitely come back and we'll get back!
