Chicken foo young was mainly all onion. Chicken curry was just watery sauce. Sorry but won't order again. Food was poor.

One of the best Chinese takeaways in the area. Friendly staff and tasty food. I like spicy dishes and always ask for extra chillies and always get them.

I usually just go for a bag of chips on a Sunday night, but I've tried other dishes from this restaurant and they are always delicious. I ordered takeaway and the service and delivery time were excellent.

this is the place i order my food if I want a delivery , no matter what you want you will not go wrong ordering from here , i have eaten from here for over 15 years and have never had cause to complain , its great

Found a dead bug in my food. Which they then argued about refunding. Eventually managed to get £4 of my £12 order refunded but the lady on the phone was very rude, and they demanded I returned the food to them, which is worrying.

The Hot Wok advertises itself as a Cantonese, Peking and Thai take away. It lists some 145 dishes on the menu. I suspect that the owners or the cooks are Thai. My experience was that no matter what the dish was, there would be sliced chilli in it. It was the first time that I can ever recall having beef and black bean sauce with slices of hot red chilli. The food burnt my mouth and I couldn't finish it neither could anyone else finish the dish. The other dishes were slightly better but not much. The egg fried rice was not impressive.

My partner and I used to order from this restaurant at least twice a week, but lately the food quality has been terrible and the customer service is awful. We ordered a variety of dishes only to find that the rice was undercooked and the chips were hard, as if they had been cooked twice. When I called to complain, I was told that I could get new chips and rice if I came to collect them myself, as the driver couldn't deliver, which would leave the rest of my food cold. They refused to replace the entire order, which had already gone cold. When I asked for a refund, they also refused. Overall, very disappointing experience with terrible customer service.
