Hotel Burg Gartenpalais

Já é a segunda vez que comemos nesse restaurante. Comida deliciosa, atendimento super simpático e rápido, preço dentro da média. O lugar é super agradável.

We really enjoyed our dinner in the beautiful garden at the back of the hotel. The local dishes were delicious and the service was pleasant. I highly recommend it.

Nice restaurant, pleasant environment, friendly staff, delicious german food, very good wine, reasonable price. A very good choice for lunch or dinner! Don't miss the desserts!

Very standard fare, but reasonably priced with good service. We ate indoors - not too much atmosphere. Everything was serviceable but wouldn't consider this place super special.

There are a lot of choices in the town. Gartenpalais is nothing special but perfectly serviceable fore a quiet meal off of the main drag. You can get a full dinner for 2 with cocktails for < 40 euro.

We traveled with our family throughout Europe, but the lodging here tops them all. We stayed in a luxurious villa, the prior family residence of the hotel's owner. It was beyond beautiful and perfect for our family. A five-star rating is not adequate for this lovely home and for the warm service we were given.

We liked the ambiance of the hotel and garden restaurant, but for a four star hotel we expected a better quality of food and service. We were guests of the hotel, and therefore had the breakfast as well. Excellent breakfast! We were - however - amazed to see a woman guest of the hotel stack her handbag with an astonishing amount of food - bread, cheese, meat, fruit - and calmly walked out with her stash.

We arrived here just by chance, the person at the service was very kind so we stayed even thought i got the impression that the restaurant was a bit smelly. I got my tea with white water! It was full of Kalk, i had to tell him to change it. The salad with sparagous was really a joke. It was written big salad and i got half of the plate with one sparagous in little pices on the top! It didn't even have a salad sauce. The apple strudel was overcooked. It seems it was warmed up several times which means it was not fresh at all. I would stay away from this restaurant.
