"We wandered in to this restaurant on a balmy Friday evening (it was busy). Waited 10 mins for a table outside and were very pleased we did so.Steak and fish dishes were excellent; Chateau Briand was superb. Service efficient and swift - ambiance was just right on a "beer fest" evening in town.No need for a starter but I suspect that they would be equally good. Beer and house wine both very acceptable.Definitely consider this as a relaxed and good quality restaurant if you stay in this wonderful Spa Town."

I frequently visit Bad Wörishofen and region. There are several very good restaurants, but in my opinion this one is the best. Great food, wonderful location. Don't miss to try their Bierlikör! View menu

We enjoyed outdoor dining, typical Bavarian fare and great beer. Unfortunately, there was quite a bit of traffic noise from the adjacent street during the first part of our meal, then it died down.

We visited for lunch, the food was exceptional and very good value for me. The place looks impressive which was the main pull for us having lunch there. I would recommend the salads and the Cauliflower/broccoli with hollandaise sauce. They have a small children's menu with the usual suspects included, but not much variety. Service was efficient, I particularly enjoyed their beer, I would like to return to this place when I return. View menu

If you like your restaurants homely, rustic and friendly, this is Bavarian hospitality at full throttle. Large spacious dining room which is immediately inviting with lots of stripped wood and a large cylindrical wood burner at it's heart. Friendly waitresses serve in traditional dress. The menu is fairly short, entirely traditional and the fillet steak might be the best I've ever tasted. Seriously. The apple strudel is pretty fantastic too.

The recent refurbishment has removed a lot of the charm that the Adler used to have. There's certainly a lot of wood now, way too much, which makes it kitsch and a little sterile at the same time. We went inside for drinks. It took a while for to be served at the bar (there werent a lot of other customers there). My wife had a hot chocolate and cognac. The chocolate was lukewarm and not very chocolatey. We asked for it to be heated up, which the staff did, but it overflowed in the microwave.
