"Let me start by saying I have eaten here many times and on the whole the food, value and service has been good. Tonight was a disaster from start to finish. Straightforward order for two people, a drink and a main course, or so I thought. Wrong drink arrived and the wife's main arrived with the wrong side dish. The waiter looked less than impressed when we pointed this out but quickly brought the correct side dish, unfortunately lukewarm. I pointed this out and he quickly reappeared with a replacement which was most certainly hot to the point of cremation. 100% the worst fried potatoes I have ever seen in Germany. Anyway, we ate our food and my wife asked for her remaining steak to go and the bill. Bill appeared quickly and we paid and 5 minutes later still no doggy bag. I had to go inside and ask for this. The doggy bag duly arrived and off we went home. Point to note is we are always offered a small complimentary drink after our meal but not on this occasion. I am a pragmatist and accept that everyone has an off day but the restaurant was probably at around 10% capacity. This waiter let the establishment down badly. Icing on the cake and what prompted me to write this review (not the lack of a complimentary drink) is we have just got home and opened the doggy bag to find someone else steak. A poor night and I am unlikely to visit here for some time if at all again."

Mittagstisch echt lecker. Mit Suppe, Salat und Nachtisch. Als Hauptspeise Gulasch, Speisen echt top und auch preislich super.

Große Portionen, sehr lecker und gut. Preise angemessen, nicht teuer. Personal war nicht so schnell. Aber es war auch ziemlich voll. Steaks, Spargel und Suppen waren super. Sehr zufrieden.

Grosses Restaurant in weseler Innenstadt mit umfangreicher Speisekarte. Gute Steaks, reichhaltige Portionen, Qualität des Essens leider nicht immer konstant gut. Service verbesserungsfähig. Ambiente so wie man es früher kennt und vielleicht auch mag. Auch für grössere Gruppen geeignet. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis okay.

Ik kan geen beoordeling geven over de hotel faciliteiten, enkel over de bistro op het terras. U wordt daar bediend door een oudere ober die denkt dat hij de koning is in plaats van de klant is koning. Opgepast bij het afrekenen, hij aanvaardt een eurobiljet en maakt zich dan uit de voeten met de smoes dat hij geen wisselgeld heeft. Je ziet hem de eerste vijf minuten niet meer terug en naar je wisselgeld kun je fluiten.

Seit vielen Jahren besuchen wir dieses Restaurant, wenn man auch das eine oder andere beanstanden könnte, also z. B. das nicht jeder Kellner immer nur freundlich ist, allerdings die meisten schon, wenn das Mobiliar ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen ist, das Essen ist immer gut. Die Stärke liegt dabei auf der Zubereitung von Steaks.Das Fleisch ist immer gut. Wir hoffen, das wir noch viele Jahre hier immer wieder einkehren können.

Tijdens het verblijf in het hotel hier gegeten. Normaal gesproken zijn we op basis van ervaring erg voorzichtig met eten in het restaurant van een hotel, in dit geval was die reserve nergens voor nodig. We konden met wat moeite nog een tafeltje bemachtigen (Duitsers eten vroeg). In het midden van het restaurant staat een boom en de muurtjes en trapjes die de tafeltjes scheidden zijn omgeven door groen. Bediening in snel en vriendelijk; er lopen voortdurend obers rond die je maar hoeft te wenken voor een bestelling. De huiswijn was uitstekend en de (grote) vleesschotel die we voor ons samen bestelden, smaakte uitstekend. Het dessert maakte het helemaal af. De rekening was on-Nederlands: veel...
