Lovely food, great service and the views are just beautiful, the day we visited it was raining, but it was still beautiful.

A restaurant in Greek version with different and variety meals and drinks. The location has a good view and very close to river side

It is located in very good area, away from Train Station Essen Hugel, and opposite of the lake.. Amazing view covered by the trees and every shades of green. The staff are very kind and friendly and quick. we like everything View menu

We know the place and love visiting it every now and then. The staff is very friendly and helpful, flexible in changes of the menu. Prices are ok, taste is good and you can find traditional Greek dishes. Luckily we found a table as it...was once more very busy. I will surely come back again

Plenty of room and a nice view from the huge conservatory over the lake.The service... I think it depends on how lucky you are as to who serves your table.Some of the waiters are really nice, others not so.The menu has lots of meats, some fish. I'd expect to see more "Greek" dishes.The food: was OK but nothing exciting.This place could offer so much more...

It's nice location, nice view, nice staff...But the food is very average. We ordered big meat plate for 4 persons. It was OK, but nothing special. It was not juice enough, not seasoned enough and what was worst, served with fries and tomato rice both of which are not typical Greek side dishes (and it was not enough for 4 persons). More vegetables would be great. View menu

Not the first visit and certainly not the last. The staff is really nice and helpful, not the stiff German type. The menu has pretty much everything from fish to meat and vegetarian dishes. The Greek cuisine has many faces and you have the chance...to have a small summary of it. The order came fast, the food tasted good and I found the prices totally normal. The view to the river is really nice. We will visit again

A restaurant beautifully situated with nice view onto the Baldeneysee. Typical greek food, partially prepared on the large open charcoal grill. Children's playground outside, very friendly staff. Best time to visit is a nice summer evening when you can enjoy the outside seating and the view. Inside atmosphere is ok, but has a bit of a "hall"-type feeling.The food is fine and in the range you would expect from a greek restaurant. So nothing fancy or special, but good and at fair prices.

Our friends live nearby in Heisingen and recommended visiting this restaurant. There is free parking outside and access is via steps which means that the restaurant enjoys great views of the Baldeneysee lake.An outside seating area is available which is fitted with a cover in the cooler weather. We went inside and received a friendly greeting from the staff.We got a table by the window and they brought us a free glass of Ouzo whilst we chose from the menus. It was especially helpful that they offer menus in English which made it easier for us to select.We ordered the Souvlaki, Putenschnitzel and the Zeus, everything was served with salad and fries.
