When we drove up we thought we had made a bad decision. When we went in we still felt so. Completely wrong-dont judge a book by its cover. Superb pub meal. No catering pack meat here its superb local produce fron their butcher Staff nice...too Highly recommended

The place itself needs a facelift. Grotty garden. The food was pretty basic but was ok, quite tasty. Nice pleasant service and they offer smaller meals for less hungry customer. They seem very busy so they are doing something right. Not my first choice next...time though.

Visited for a couple of lunch time meal with family which was extremely enjoyable. The staff and landlord are extremely polite and helpful. A lovely menu, fantastic selection of drinks (especially the Guinness), and the food was lovely and served piping hot. Well worth a...visit. View menu

We were searching for a pub that was open for a drink and decided to stop here. There was a dog barking in the garden, but we went inside. The man came out from the end of the building and shouted that they were closed. Perhaps he should update his website, as they were supposed to be open for another hour. The staff were definitely not friendly. Would we go back? Absolutely not!

Five of us enjoyed an excellent lunch time meal selecting a variety of options, most of which was home prepared off the menu. One thing I wasn't prepared for was to have the chips already salted. Being on a low salt diet they were willingly...changed. Must remember to request no salt next time. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Will definitely visit again and wish it was our local.

Lovely family feel to the pub. We were staying nearby and had two meals here. Very dog friendly. Meals are delicious and substantial but cleverly you can order a large or small of each one to cater for smaller appetites. Staff are really attentive and...interested. I had the Gammon which was beautiful. If you are passing through or staying nearby I would recommend you pay a visit. Good ale and cider to choose from also. View menu

All of the starters and main dishes we ordered were delicious. The prawn starters and mains of Steak, Salmon, Venison, and Haggis (part of a special menu for Burns Night) were all beautifully prepared. The service provided by the waitresses was efficient but not overly intrusive. They also had a great sense of humor, which added to the overall enjoyable dining experience. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.

We had planned to eat at another pub in Long Burton but they were closed, so we decided to go to the Hunters Moon. We were so pleased that we did as we found the staff very helpful and friendly and the food was delicious....Even the smaller portions were ample. We decided to treat ourselves to a sweet and the lemon roulade was worth putting on a couple of pounds for. It was superb. Tables were well spaced and we felt completely safe and relaxed. Will definitely be returning to this lovely pub.

Staying overnight en route to Cornwall. We stayed at this amazing Family run Traditional Inn. The menu is extensive and added specials board. Portions excellent and tasty. We chose fish and chips and sweet sour pork. Well presented and the service attentive and friendly....Our room extremely comfortable, ensuite shower room clean and plenty of hot water, complementary shower gel etc. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, biscuits, and good size TV with full range of stations. Breakfast was excellent as well. Value for money excellent. Looking forward to staying again. View menu
