"DER DÄNE is one of about 5 restaurants around the historic market in the old town of Glückstadt. Port, ferry and Matjes as well as the adjacent shopping streets attract visitors, who will inevitably eat something here. Anyone who lands in the DÄNEN is lucky: hotel and restaurant business well-bourgeois solid with a map that reproduces almost every preference. The rainy outdoor terrace neatly maintained at a cloudy late noon in the week rather empty and our starting point for a little bite. The feminine confessed service kindly humorous and supernett brought some color into the triste mood and was parat when needed. Crispy Chicken Sandwich in Focacciabrot with Ceasars Dressing and Sparkling. Salad inserts (10,90€ : 2 huge layers of chicken meat with all kinds of ingredients between the bread halves quite high and initially difficult to händeln but later plentiful and easier to enjoy. Bunter flavor mix sustainably saturating and quite harmonious thanks to Ceasar. Fairly calculated and reasonable food also for a short visit with good service. Mainstream recommended uncomplicated."

"I chose this place on the basis of the distance to the resort by internet search. The online booking was super simple and convenient. We were reminded of the appointment by email. The restaurant itself is very stylish and cosy, it received us a very pleasant warmth (we were there in November), so we felt right well. The food was excellent and the head of the house was very friendly, eloquent and helpful. Too bad it's 500 km far away, otherwise it would have become a tribal place! Thank you for the warm hospitality, the excellent meal and the super pleasant stay"

The prices are quite expensive for a bistro, but you can enjoy food and drink in the middle of the Elbe in a cozy lounge. Feel free to come back at any time. "In einer ungewöhnlichen Zeit war es eine der schönen Welcome Back Erfahrungen dank den Lockerungen nach dem Corona Lock Down. Die vom Bundesland Schleswig Holstein verordneten Massnahmen werden einwandfrei umgesetzt, das Personal ist äusserst freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Speisekarte zeichnet sich durch Varientenreichtum, lokale wie auch saisonale Spezialitäten aus. Kurz nach Aufgabe der Bestellung wurden uns die bestellten Getränke mit einem kleinen Gruss aus der Küche gereicht. Die Hauptmahlzeiten waren optisch schön angerichtet und sehr lecker. Erwähnenswert ist auch die Nachspeise mit heissen Kirschen und Vanilleeis. Preis-Leistung Verhältnis stimmt absolut. Sehr gerne wieder!"
