"We chose this place for a quiet August family. As soon as you arrive, the staff of the room was friendly and friendly, knowing then recommend us also in the choice of dishes. We could taste traditional flavors but with a touch of innovation, starting from the appetizer, passing from the first and the second ending with fruit. Very abundant portions with products at km 0 and fresh day fishing. I can't say I enjoyed a single dish, because I and we enjoyed all the lunch. Trying to believe, I think for a local, whatever it is, the harmony between cuisine and friendliness, both the maximum and the New Machiavelli we found it. I highly recommend it."

We stayed at Machiavelli for lunch today. Well what to say we were really speechless... great food, all based on fish and felt the freshness of the products, cooked impeccably by chef Gianluca Criscuolo. In addition to the excellent food also the staff does its part: and courtesy! We were really well and we will definitely recommend it is one of the best in the area! !

We had an early dinner at this restaurant while in Pompeii. It was up the street from our hotel and close to other accommodations. It appears to be one of the better restaurants, so we expected more than we experienced. The staff was reasonably attentive. The wine list was limited mostly with local wines. We did not find the food meeting the quality of reviews on the internet. At best the food was adequate. If returning to Pompeii we will try other restaurants first.
