"For me, there was a great selection of savory options, including not just sandwiches, but also wraps with various fillings that were a nice departure from the usual offerings. The cakes were absolutely delicious, and the portions were the largest I've ever seen, warm to the touch. Since it was Easter, there were some lovely extra touches for the children. My daughter had her face painted by a talented artist who was stationed nearby and created a beautiful flower design while engaging in friendly conversation with my 9-year-old. We also had a visit from the Easter Bunny, who handed out Easter eggs. Our waitress, whose name I unfortunately didn't catch, was very attentive and accommodating, ensuring that nothing was too much trouble. The staff at Quart Pot are always friendly, and every experience I’ve had there has been pleasant. Well done!"

"Booked a table on line, which was easy enough. Arrived at the Windmill, the lady logged in to find our booking, which took a little while as the app kept logging her out, and it had ‘the longest ever password’ to log in her words not mine. Took our seats, and ordered our drinks via the app. After about 10 mins, the same lady asked if we were ok, we said we were waiting for drinks, she went back to the bar and retrieved our order and brought our drinks to us. Next round of drinks which again were order via the app arrived promptly. Next we ordered our mains. Medium rare 10oz stake, and a lasagna. Food arrived. Lasagna was very good. Not overpowered with tomato or garlic, very tasty. Hubby’s medium rare stake was overcooked making it a bit dry and lacking taste, but he didn’t want to wait for another to be cooked. Not once did anyone check with us how the meal was. During the meal we ordered another round of drinks, and waited patiently. The lack of drinks made a dry steak even less palatable. We finished the meals (well left half the steak) yet still no drinks. After 25 minutes I went to the bar to cancel the drinks and ask for a refund. After tapping many buttons, hey presto the order was located. There was much confusion over how to do a refund, and at one stage it was suggested that we may have to have cash and the staff member sort it later, but eventually it got sorted as a refund to the card. STILL NO ENQUIRY AS TO HOW THE MEALS WERE!!!!!! As much as I enjoyed the lasagna, I don’t think we will visit again. One member of staff was spending more time having a chat with the locals than checking on things. There were a lot of food orders being collected for delivery, I felt that these were being prioritised above the seated diners. I wish I could say the pub was busy, but it really wasn’t so there was no excuse."

"I am a regular at this restaurant, but this time I did not have a very enjoyable experience. The appetizers I ordered were not fresh, the dancers' performance was boring, and the music was not good. There were more drunk people than usual, which I know is not something the restaurant can control. Overall, it was not a good night. I have had better experiences at Tropicana in the past. I hope it was just a bad night and that things will improve in the future. I must say, the security and service from the staff were excellent, and I appreciate that."

"Where do I begin? First of all, there was no record of my reservation, but thankfully, there was a table available. We waited for the menu to arrive, but when it did, we were informed that there were no starters available during the week. The menu itself offered very limited choices, so we opted for the carvery. Unfortunately, all the vegetables were dried out and hard, indicating they hadn't been refreshed; I really didn't feel like eating them. If it hadn't been for my friend's birthday, I would have walked out. The meat was sliced so thin that you could see through it. I did voice my concerns but was merely told that if I came back again, they would ensure it didn't happen next time. I definitely won't be returning! On a side note, the gentleman who served the meat was quite grumpy and unhelpful."

"What a fantastic experience. We made a reservation for Thursday night and were impressed by the attentive and knowledgeable staff. Our server was friendly and welcoming. The children's menu had generous portion sizes and quality equal to that of the adult dishes. My wife and I shared a delicious medium rare tomahawk steak, cooked to perfection with a smoky flavor from the open fire. Our daughter enjoyed the bone-in option. The fries were hot and crispy, sprinkled with sea salt. The salad was outstanding, featuring more than just lettuce and tomatoes - it included fresh crumbles that complemented the flavorful meat. The meal was excellent and reasonably priced. It's rare to find a restaurant that offers such a unique dining experience. We highly recommend it."

It was my partners birthday, and I asked for a few extras, and it was sorted... the service is of very high standard, friendly, professional, and helpful. The restaurant is reeeeally nice!! It looks and feels like a steak house. The food... if you want the best steak in Cornwall.... you have to come here! Some say it's top pricey, but the cost is reflected in the quality of this place. "Chilangos is a place where anyone, with different kinds of diets can find something to eat. You can order online for collection through their website or on deliveroo. We keep coming back to the vegan and vegetarian options. I always order the burritos because I find they are really filling and flavoursome. As they say, a stampede of flavours. They guacamole is another level of guacamole. Much better than other eateries. Make sure to try their other selections of sodas as well. Next time I am going to make sure to remember to order seafood. I want to try their prawn burrito. I wish they had halal meats but to be honest I am really happy with the vegan boxes and wraps. "I think the majority of the reviews here are influenced by the good attention that is provided at the restaurant otherwise it would be hard for me to understand how they give more than 2 stars to the food. I visited this restaurant today with my family and friends and we were super disappointed, starting with some white loaf bread straight out from the bag and some foiled wrapped butter, followed by a super basic salad with 5 extra thin soggy battered calamari’s on top and a super ordinary dressing. The main was not bad but nothing special taking in consideration that you’d pay £35 for the two courses meal or £43 for the three courses. We feel that we were ripped off, terrible experience. "We ate at Cote on 11th October, 17 of us for a work meal. We had a fantastic experience, we were well looked after from the minute we walked in. Our waiter was attentive throughout. The food came out promptly for all of us, and was fresh/hot and delicious. We ordered a range of mains and puddings, and everything was tasty and enjoyed by all. "I made a reservation at a new Mexican restaurant to celebrate Mother's Day with my wife and son. I called ahead to let them know we would be running late and the person on the phone was kind and understanding. When we arrived, the waitress was friendly and even made a special effort to accommodate our 7-year-old son. The bartender and other waitresses were also attentive and friendly. Our food arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious, with generous portions. I ordered the chicken burrito with roasted beans and my wife had the fajitas. Overall, we all had a great experience and I highly recommend this restaurant. Just a heads up - the smell of the food can linger on your clothes, so it's best to leave your coat in the car."

"With having a dog Norfolk is one of our favourite parts of the country and we were looking to treat ourselves for a few days. The Feathers came up as dog friendly, the booking was made with the hotel, the response from the receptionist was very friendly and helpful, at the time of the booking I was told Lotti, our dog, would have her own bed and treats when we arrived. We were met with a warm reception on arrival and proceeded to our room, true to their word at the foot of the large double bed was a well presented dog bed containing treats, dog shampoo, towel and water bowl, perfect. The friendliness and warmth shown by all the staff during out stay was wonderful. A big thank you to all the staff there a credit to themselves and the hotel Food drinks: We had steak on the Saturday evening and was cooked to perfection"

"We love coming here, it’s our favourite place. Steaks and burgers are very very good, in fact all the dishes are very good. We also love the loaded fries. Sometimes the buns/rolls are not as good as they could be. Menu can be a tad bit overwhelming especially if you’re not too sure what you want. Last time we went we had problems paying the bill for 4 starters 6 mains 1 dessert (drinks paid separately) it came to £260 (est) I noticed drinks on our bill (which were removed) then it dropped a little bit… then I noticed a tomahawk on it…. They don’t sell them…. This was removed …. Finally got it down to £190 …. I’m clueless what happened! Maybe the tills software needs looking at ? That aside we love it here, great atmosphere, and will definitely be back again."

"The food at this restaurant was average, but our dining experience was marred by an incident in the open kitchen. We were seated right next to the pass and observed the chef using a dirty tea towel to wipe surfaces and plates. Some diners complained and the chef reacted by shouting and swearing at the customers. Eventually, he stormed out after a heated argument. The young staff tried to apologize for his behavior, but it was clear that there was no one in charge. We appreciated that 20% was deducted from our bill, but unfortunately we will not be returning to Trefnant."

"The importance of good service cannot be overstated when dining out. During our visit to this restaurant, we experienced a few shortcomings in this area. After ordering our food, we were informed that we would need to request additional plates from the waitress, as the servers rotated. Our meals were placed on the table without any inquiry about sauce or condiments, and we were not asked if we wanted more drinks. The server appeared disinterested and did not engage with us, despite the loud ambiance requiring elevated voices to communicate. Attention to detail and making guests feel valued are key aspects of hospitality. The cheese board lacked butter and plates, necessitating a request for these items. Upon finishing our meal, we were promptly asked to vacate the table, even though there were numerous vacant tables and no waiting customers. While the food was tasty, the portion sizes left something to be desired - receiving only half a carrot, half a parsnip, and three potatoes felt insufficient. The side vegetables consisted of kale and courgette, with no cauliflower or broccoli in sight."
