"This is genuinely one the best restaurants I have ever been to! Just a step away from the tourist traps around the tower, and get a true taste of Tuscany. My partner and I chose to visit one evening and couldn't get a table as they were full till close. The owner was rushing around to make everyones evening perfect, but they still had time to stop and speak to us and we made a reservation for the next day. When we arrived for our reservation, we were seated outside on a warm evening and had one of the most amazing meals we've ever had. We started with the smoked burrata salad to start was to die for The gnocchi siciliana, and the local fish were perfect. I don't exaggerate when I say, this was the best meal we'd had on our Italy summer trip. If you are looking for authentic home cooked Italian food, do not go any further. Make sure to book to avoid disappointment, this is one not to miss when you are in Pisa. Bravo! What a joy eating here! Like life, in the places you least expect you stumble upon treasures. Real food, real people. The three ladies serve you really well, while enjoying doing so. Small restaurant with open kitchen behind the counter. About 20 dishes to choose from a chalkboard. Tuscan food with more fantasy and love in preparation. In 14 days eating out in Italy, even some very high end restaurants, this was the best meal we had that will be remembered.
