"Wenn man einen Eintrag mit dem Titel "Das Beste" schreiben möchte und das schon vergeben ist, sagt das wohl schon alles aus. Zabala ist für uns "Urlaub" vom Alltag. Hier können wir alles um uns herum vergessen und nur genießen. Das Essen, der Wein, der Kaffee und Espresso (ebenfalls der Beste der Stadt), die Bewirtung, das Ambiente ist Ausgezeichnet. Bitte lassen Sie sich weder die Tapas (die gibt es nirgend's Besser) sowie auch die Themenabende "Noche von Amigos" (Ecuador trifft Deutschland, Spargeltime, Tartufo die Alba u.v.m) nicht entgehen. Die Themenabende sind immer etwas ganz spezielles und auf der Homepage frühzeitig eingestellt. Das Vertrauen in die Kochkünste der Köchin ist so groß, das ich heute sehr vieles esse, das ich früher nicht mochte. Hier traut man sich, auch mal etwas Neues zu probieren und ich wurde noch nie enttäuscht.Kurzum: Wir wohnen knapp seit 2 Jahren in Frechen und Zabala gehört zu unserem Leben dazu :)"

"Eventhough I was only once there, this place is def. my fave place for steak in town! I dont think I have to describe every little thing completely... Our visit there was awesome. Yes, its worth every cent- even if you have to drive across...the other side of Cologne. Appetizer: Mix Portugese Plate which was in a big portion but daringly yummy. Main Course: refined Flank Steak with Asparagus was more than flattering. As I hardly give 5 no matter how great the venue is, but these extra points add up together and make this place excellent. Friendly helpfull staffs. It seems that they love and proud with what they're doing. Reasonable Pricing- both for Food Beverages. Above all... the Steaks! its variation(you name it- you'd get it, well mostly)... its blend... La Tasca has a great Fish Bar as well. Worth a try next time :D"

"Apparently there was a change of ownership.After eating there for years, there were new waiters and new cards. The food is still good, only Cevapcici are almost raw, and in the end you get an intermediate bill instead of an invoice.The intermediate bill can then be quickly cancelled in cash after em payment. This obvious tax evasion for every guest is stupid and not worthy of a serious high-priced restaurant."

"Absolute Spitzenklasse. Lange nicht mehr so gute Pasta gegessen. Wirklich von a-z alles top. Personal freundlich und schnell. Essen kam Ruck zuck Nudeln waren sehr heiß. Wenn es was zu bemängeln gibt dann die fehlenden Parkplätze vor der Tür aber für das gute Essen lohnt sich auch ein kurzer Fußweg."

"Very nice self-confident prices in a city where apparently 3/4 of the population of Hartz 4 live and spend the evenings on the park bench. Nevertheless, the restaurant is robust during the week. Good reason. The dishes are of excellent quality. The Venetian carving with veal is a poem that perfectly tastes white wine sauce. Very friendly and fit staff, harmonious furniture..."
