"this is my personal best choice for restaurant in hunstanton and here is why. the personal is really welcoming and sweet and this alone meets my five stars given immediately. they are not only courteous and friendly, but also something else made me a very beautiful impression, something they could easily miss. we joined the square at 16:50, and no one told us that they were closed in 17:00, in 10 minutes! no one mentioned it at all, we were warmly welcomed, our order was taken, served, we ate in total rest until 17:30 etc. not a single sign of haste or something! most restaurants would probably have closed the doors to show that it is time to go, but not here! not even a gentle memory, we were treated like friends! about eating completely independent from above, I loved every bite! the hunch was made as the absolute perfection! about the hygiene of the place glittered clean (I have experienced all kinds, that is my not so humble expert opinion here.) a couple that was still left shortly after arriving, and I saw two of the waitresses who had taken the witness away from the table and without delay the cleaning and disinfection so carefully that I suspected it was their own business, never looked so fast I also used the toilets and they were immaculate. for the first time I see restaurant toilets so clean, 5 stars also for it! the last prizes were on site. I'm pretty scared when it comes to money, and they get the best here. location is quite easy to find. will definitely come back when in hunstanton again!"

We found this restaurant to be friendly and all three staff working at the time of our visit were helpful and polite. The food was served hot and just cooked fresh, two adult meals and two children’s meals, all with drinks came to under £35. Very good value for money these days.

Service is absolutely dire!! How can you wait 45 mins for lunch to then have all 5 meals brought out and be told someone has just nipped to the shop for your egg!! 15 minutes later still waiting on egg!! 1 meal going cold and eventually only 4 of us fed. Organisation and customer service very very poor

Very enjoyable lunch with my daughter. The children’s menu was more extensive than the usual nugget and chips, which was great. My 4 year old chose the Mac and cheese which was served with garlic bread, she thoroughly enjoyed it. I went for the chicken burger, the chips, onion rings and salad were lovely but the chicken itself was poor quality. Overall a good meal at a decent price. I will be returning

This restaurant was very quiet when we went, unlike the busy seafront restaurants. That is a shame as it was clean, welcoming and had a good menu choice: The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and found us a quiet table to sit with our dog at the rear of the restaurant. The food was good; fish and chips and sausage egg and chips. Served hot and with a smile from all the staff. Definitely worth a visit.

A new head chef who had only been there a week with no kitchen staff (start next week) made the most amazing fish and chips. We had to wait but that’s normal for fresh cooked food. Heard some people complain about the wait but this isn’t fast food. Freshly cooked fish in a crispy tasty batter takes time. Definitely going back and hopefully the new staff will be able to replicate the standard set by the head chef. Excellent value for money too.

"My wife and I stayed here for a few days to celebrate my birthday. We chose Titchwell Manor due to its location on the A149. From here we can catch the Coasthopper up or down the coast. The bus stops are 100 metres outside the hotel. We were greeted in the car park and shown to our room behind the hotel. We had Basil number 21. It is a large comfortable room, with walk in shower and the fluffiest towels we have ever had. The room was very well heated and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was served from a civilised 8am. The plate of fresh fruit was really good. If you choose to have you eggs poached they will be the most perfect you will ever have with their lovely orange yokes. The rest of the components were equally good and served with leaf tea or great coffee. The bars each had a lovely roaring log fire, where we enjoyed a drink before our meal. The menu choices we made were ham hock, brioche piccalilli and burnt apple purée followed by venison, Jerusalem artichoke and rainbow kale. The other choice was marinated beetroot, basil pesto and goats cheese cream followed by salt baked celeriac, sage and onion with crispy kale. Both meals were outstanding. The venison was very tender and the celeriac was outstanding. On the basis of this dish, a very under stated vegetable. Service was very good and served at a speed we dictated without the continual pestering we have experienced elsewhere. We will definitely come back here as the whole stay was a great experience."
