"Stayed at the ship on a couple of occasions and eaten here often , we came for Sunday lunch last Sunday and as usual it was excellent. Only negative thing that I could say was that the service was slow . This is in no way a reflection of the staff , they work so hard and are so friendly they are a credit to the place. It seems to me that they are very understaffed and the owners should invest in extra staff instead of putting the current team under so much pressure."

We went to the ship last night and had a great evening once again. We were welcomed by Marcus and the team and it was lovely to be back. So friendly and just what we needed to cheer us up at the weekend. Can't wait to return.

Fantastic place, never normally go to the same place twice but ended up going 3 times in 1 week. Food was phenomenal and Alisha serving was part the reason for coming back. She is a brilliant. Can't wait to come back plus it was our honeymoon!

Had a lovely meal at The Ship back in November, service was great and the food was fantastic! Loved the atmosphere! They saved me tonight (the night before Xmas Eve! with their takeaway fish chips after I came in too late without realising. Once again so helpful friendly and great haddock chips! Thanks guys!! 5*!

Staying at the hotel right now and have absolutely no complaints. The staff are lovely. Check in was easy and quick and we were made to feel very welcome. The room is lovely with a huge bed. Ate here last night and the food was so good that we are doing the same tonight as the menu has changed. Breakfast was very good with lots to choose from. We will definitely come back here again. Thanks for a great stay
