Some nice flavours but nothing that made us go ‘wow!’ We’re not fans of smears of food across the plate or little jugs of sauce if they don’t add anything. We very much enjoyed our dinner at jour de marche. The food was really excellent, and the waiter made us feel very welcome and spoke English. He was reassuring and made our experience even more enjoyable and relaxed, which is not always the case in France.
