Kachina - Menu

I ordered a takeaway from here and immediately threw it in the bin. What an absolutely disgusting standard of food and portion size. Save yourself any money by just eating out of a bin. Avoid this place like the plague!

we came here for a birthday meal. it was very quiet with excellent fast service and delicious food. beautiful atmosphere and very pleased we came here. we were very fully appreciated after our starters so that we could order a pudding instead of a main....We would definitely recommend.

Used this restaurant often years ago and the food and service were excellent.Not now.Decided to go for the buffet.The starters were tasteless,satay sauce watery,spicy chicken not spicy.All the starters tasteless.On to the duck which was cold and chewy.Did not bother with the main course and...paid up and left never to return and would say to others,give this restaurant a miss. Received as a takeaway. Whilst delivery times were efficient, that is all that was good. My rating of is being generous as you can’t put any less. Chow mien probably one of the easiest things to make was appalling. You could get noodle meal deal in Tesco throw some chicken in and have a nicer meal for less of the price. Satay sauce was runny. The prawn crackers were stale. Only other good thing was the off on Uber Eats. I’d be livid if I had to pay full price. Save yourself the hassle. First last for this place.

Whilst the delivery was fast and efficient that is where the good points ended. the ribs although tender had some kind of non-descript sauces on them and we couldn’t tell which flavour was which I do not recommend the capital spareribs or barbecue spareribs. The...crispy wontons had a small sliver of mushroom and one single Beanshoot with some kind of brown sauce and that was it. The spring rolls were non-descript crunchy pieces of filo pastry. The Sesame prawn toast however was okay but soggy. Whilst I was hungry and ate most of my spare ribs (which was two portions) the Mrs couldn’t eat any of hers and they’ve gone in the bin. we have been loyal customers to this restaurant/collection for many years and saw that it changed the hands a few times, but recently the quality of the food has changed, I remember telling me about the previous owner, it would change the hands again. sadly, the new owners do not continue to have the excellent standard of food we know and love. the first thing that was tonight was that they forgot one of our courts, so they had to call and come back to collect that. the noodles burned, but were not crispy, they had like a smokey aroma for them, so maybe woollen oil was too hot I am not sure, but were not pleasant. the yung chow fried rice had a soggy texture, and we didn't eat it. but the sa... Having been a big fan of Kachina when I lived locally to the restaurant, I decided to treat the family to our old Chinese fave. Well, what can only be described as the worst food I have ever received turned up. There was zero flavour...on anything, prawn dish which is supposed to be with peppers and chillies and at least a whole onion chopped up to make it appear like there was a lot of food. The prawns were not cooked at all , the chips were reheated from about days a go Id say! The chow mein…. the noodles had nothing on them nothing! I brought my old daughter to the tasty bite here, we had the buffet option and loved that huhn satay so much we had extras. it is nice to be in the position to be as many appetizers as they want, so they can try many. we ended up with satay, ripening, seaweed and brewed toast, all coming on a sharing plate. they can order as many appetizers as they want, including suppening and eating pancakes, but are limited to a pornstar. our net came with rice or noodles. we both wanted the egg frying to get such a sharing dish. that was after all the appetizers, suppe and escape! the staff was clearly very busy, so I wouldn't immerse for a fast meal, but it was new years day and they were very friendly...

Picked the restaurant as we'd been shopping nearby and looked like a local place to try. After looking at the menu we opted for the buffet menu. We walked into the empty restaurant and were sat next to the bar. From where i was sat...there was at least ikea candles that had seen better days dumped on the bar and bottles of cleaner within easy reach which wasn't something should be on show inches away from a customer or potential child.
