"I came down for a meal with my family yesterday. The staff were really friendly and lovely and the food tasted amazing, the prices are great, it was really value for money. I was a bit sceptical to eat in after a long time due...to the pandemic but it was nice to see the restaurant had taken great precautions to ensure everyone was safe. Hand sanitizers were in place, the tables were separated so distance was kept from other customers, there was limited contact between staff and customers for safety purposes but business was still running smoothly and efficiently. It was lovely meal and I will definitely be coming down again :"

fantastic traditional bengali style restaurant. it still does the Anglo-Indian dishes that we all expect when we go, but are clear of these and traditional dishes are available.

You can always tell a good restaurant by its vegetables. The food, service and value at this restaurant is undoubtedly the best around. We have been going here for a number of years and cannot fault it. There is no other Indian restaurant, in my...opinion, to beat it.

we have collapsed here because our preferred choice (calcutta brasserie) had an Elvis operator for the night. Maybe fun in a group, but we just wanted a quiet meal. So we've been on the kardamom lounge. eating was good, but nothing special. nice staff, but a lot of a curry house instead of a little more. we have not returned, but I would not recommend anything.

We had a takeaway from here last Saturday night. It was an excellent experience from start to finish. We rang for a delivery gave our order. Very quick easy. We were told it would be about an hour to an hour ten....I arrived after 45 minutes. Delivery was very safe. The meals we had were absolutely excellent. All three of us were more than happy with the food we had. We will definitely be using them again.

We went to the Kardamon Lounge yesterday (Sunday afternoon, 4.30pm). We were met with a warm welcome and when we arrived the restaurant was empty. A few other tables filled up while we were there and there were orders coming in for takeaway deliveries. The...food was lovely as always and the service was excellent. This is our second time at the Kardamon Lounge once before lockdown and now under the current COVID restrictions. The guys at the Kardamon Lounge are doing a great job from under their masks. We will be back there in a few weeks.

"Absolutely average restaurant. Dirty bamboo table mats and super dirty windows, kinda sad to look out of them. Impatient service, who under 6 minutes 5 times came back trying to pressure me to take my order. I was confused as I thought it was a restaurant not a fast food place. Silly me who used to live in Japan though the menu is just like there, with pictures. How wrong I was...So getting my phone to have a look at their website, what kinda different that in the restaurant menu card one. When I tried to ask for reconditions, I didn't get any, she just straight away took the last what I asked. The steamed algae was very nice, but my noodle soup was a big surprise, as I have no idea what's roasted (burned) pepper and massive chunks of onions doing there? It's supposed to be sea food, but instead just some burned vegetables scared with frozen octopus, mussels and mini calamari rings poured up with chicken broth. So yeah, kinda disappointing. Drink wise I asked the waitress do they have any tonic water as it isn't listed on the menu card, she looked at me like I am a weirdo. I asked for Roku gin what is my favourite. On the receipt was counted as an extra pound because Japanese. Lol, no comment. Getting the drinks, from other restaurants you get the spirit on the rocks in the glass and front of you they pouring the mixer drink from the mini bottle. Here not, just straight away together as it comes. Oh and don't bother asking without lemon, because you are getting one either way. So Akasaka restaurant did not become my favourite one. Once and last. Easily can be forgotten. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4"
