"I used to think Kashmir was a good restaurant, but recently the prices have increased significantly. The delivery service is unreliable, as we had to wait much longer than expected and ended up paying extra for the service charge. It doesn't feel worth the money anymore, especially when they don't even offer a free popadom. I find myself using this restaurant less and less because of the cost, and I am starting to think it would be easier to try somewhere else. Time is too precious to waste on mediocre experiences."

The curry at this restaurant is incredible, we won't be going anywhere else in Haywards Heath! The staff are always so charming and pleasant.

The food was tasteless and had no enjoyment. The chicken was very poor quality and very spartan. Onion bargee was dry and tasteless. Cheese nana was a limp plain nan. We threw most of the meal away.

we ordered goan huh, lamb tikka balti , sweet dansak and nice balti special, as well as sunsets . it tasted all the same also thick and sticky. we were really disappointed. it was the worst withdrawal that I ever had. I. understand different cooks of different times. we threw the half away. so disappointed.

I had a divorce for the first time. huhn achari with garlic naan and a puri. the curry was delicious, but the naan and puri were in order, but I had better. there was a little too much oil in the curry, but it was very delicious...and not drowned by chili. this place is much better than the restaurant towards it by light years.

First discovered this golden nugget in and since then it’s been our regular take away. Most authentic and delicious food I have tasted in any Indian take away. Have tried other takeaways in the area but they are not even close. Food is full...of gorgeous taste and always hot. You can see the effort that goes into each dish and they do care about their food! If you’re in Haywards Heath, try them and go for medium dishes on their menu you won’t be disappointed. View menu

Missed articles from my delivery! after waiting for minutes to hold suspended. that was not a good start! I called her back. I had my delivery. I called back to get my missing items. They said I didn't order it...after I'm fighting over the phone. they delivered the missing product. but a decent customer service would normally say: "I'm sorry, sir, I will send it to them asap" obviously my main component in the time cold! incredible. they will not use them again. I'd go somewhere else if I were you!

Recommended by a local but found to be just another Balti takeaway. Nothing the of us had was anything exceptional but equally was not bad. All food hot and cooked. We had concerns that the poppadoms were not fresh made but pre bought as...tasted stale. We had a good mixed selection from the menu and as said nothing wrong with it but have had better elsewhere. We are not local so unlikely to go back or be able to compare with others in area so may of course be the best of a poor bunch hence the recommendation

"We go to Gravetye 3 or 4 times a year if we can and have been going for many many years over the tenures of several owners. It 's always a complete joy, and the current owner has done a fabulous job of getting the right people in, both inside and out. Tom Coward, the Head Gardener (ex. Dixter) has a vision and a long term plan that make continual visits over an extended period a joy every time we visit we are surprised by the continual changes we learn so much and the garden staff are super helpful and willing to discuss what they 're up to and why. The amazing oval massive kitchen garden that supplies the hotel is a source of wonderment and not to be missed. A visual and culinary feast. We 've never stayed there as we live reasonably close, but have eaten in both the old and new dining rooms many times. The new dining room sits harmoniously between the wings of the manor and although a very modern glass and steel construction, the inclusion of a fabulous antique (and uneven) parquet floor (ex. some french chateau) softens the feel and acoustics, making the room almost intimate. The floor to ceiling windows bring you right into the garden, even in the foulest of weather it 's a triumph of design. Then there 's the food. Apart from the presentation, which is exquisite, the flavours and textures always bring a broad grin, however grumpy I am! This is absolutely first rate British cuisine; the kitchen under Head Chef George Blogg is to be commended, as are the garden staff producing the freshest of produce. I occasionally try to photograph the plates, but invariably find I 've forgotten that rather crass move and have just launched in! Must also mention the front of house staff. Perfectly presented and mannered, they know exactly the boundary between staff and guest and make you feel completely comfortable and relaxed there is nothing stuffy or obsequious about Gravetye everything is pitched just spot on and nothing is too much trouble. We were there today for a birthday treat, but will be back again soon for a post family wedding get together. Cannot recommend too highly just an excellent few hours, whatever the weather. Walkability: Lots of paths. The lower areas are easy for those with limited mobility, however it might be tricky to get up to the kitchen garden if you 're not great on your feet. Food drinks: See my review."
