If you want to spend a nice evening in a well-kept ambience and are curious about interesting and creative dishes, this is absolutely right. Unfortunately, the summer season is over, because in beautiful weather it is probably also very nice to sit outside. Very nice ambience, personal and friendly. Just like the service. We had the fillet and the dumplings with Red Bete. Personally I would prefer less cream, the meat was good and also extra desires no theme. You're welcome.

The quality is as good as before after the lockdown. Chief Daniel understands his craft. Small map with delicious fresh dishes, friendly service and pleasant audience. For this you sit in the courtyard under that chestnut really beautiful. Always worth a visit.

Lammkarree with wonderful sweet potato ginger puree and lamb chops with divine minzyoghurt everything perfect! A wonderful Easter Surprise, though we arrived shortly before the gates closed and thought we had to go down everything but not so... absolutely recommended!

The location of the chestnut is like a backyard, quiet and remote. The interior is very modern and invites you to stay. The beer garden is very natural. The food is very delicious. Petersiliekartoffeln are highly recommended, as are salads. A courtesy service completes a perfect visit. The best restaurant in Fechenheim!

The chestnut in Frankfurt am Main Fechenheim is a small but very fine restaurant. It has a beautiful large chestnut in the courtyard/beer garden. Here you can go very well with guests. Despite Covid 19 restrictions, the service still works well here. The food is always freshly prepared, so you have to buy a little waiting time. The food tastes uniquely good. It's worth getting back here.
