"I was at the Kastanienhof yesterday evening on a recommendation and was unfortunately very disappointed. The ambience with the conservatory looks very chic, but it was. Unfortunately, the operation was very unfriendly and pampy towards me. In addition, I was not respected by you in any way, and this even occurred to my accompaniment. We have never been discussed together, whether we still have a wish, but only my accompaniment. I've been dismissed. Like I wasn't there. Of course, I addressed this maladministration and I was told by the boss that I was probably jealous and he couldn't believe it. Even in terms of price/performance ratio, the food did not agree. The pommes were cold and totally salted. The meat was partly very tough. I ordered a grill plate. Next Knaller was the bill. The service only gave me the change money on request. Conclusion: Unfortunately not recommended, but fortunately there are other Croats ind Marl and surroundings."

Service:Gerade am Tisch angekommen wird man gefragt Bar oder mit Karte ???? Besser aber Bar zahlen. Years ago, I didn't eat well in this place. Above all, I had the impression of getting vegetables, side dishes and sauces from the canned. I was invited to dinner at the Kastanienhof. With the knowledge that the kitchen should have changed and I didn't want to push the invitee in front of my head, I've been surprised. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food left the same impression as many years ago.

Sind heute zum 2 Weihnachtstag mit 8 Personen dort gewesen. Wurden freundlich empfangen, mussten dann aber fast eine 1/2 Stunde auf unsere ersten Getränke warten. Leider dauerte das Essen fast 1,5 Std. bis wir es endlich bekommen hatten. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns gesagt das die Küche eine Menge zu tun hat. Leider mussten wir aber feststellen das andere Gäste die ca. 1/2 bis 3/4 Stunde nach uns gekommen sind ihr Essen sehr zügig bekamen. Dann wurde der Tisch schon abgedeckt obwohl noch nicht alle mit dem Essen fertig waren. Die Nachspeise haben wir uns dann geklemmt da es wie ein Rausschmiss rüber gekommen ist und und auch war.
