The vegan main course of teriyaki eggplant with parsnip puree and shiitake was an absolute dream. Plus competent, friendly and fast service. We had a fantastic evening! 5/5 stars

The atmosphere was great and the service staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and gave my group enough space to let us enjoy our night out. The food was fantastic all around! Nobody in the group had a bad thing to say. Definitely a great find, and would visit again next time I'm in Berlin

The location with the inner courtyard is really exceptionally impressive. There were 5 of us there and everyone was very happy with their food. The meat, no matter what was ordered, was well prepared and of first class quality. Only the service could be a little more attentive. We were disappointed by our second visit. Our reserved table wasn’t ready, so we were made to stand at the bar holding our jackets until we had to ask again for our table. The food was over salted and not very interesting even the French fried were mid, and fries should always be amazing! Table service was also lacking not bringing the correct silverware, not bringing the bill quickly when asked. We loved our first visit. The atmosphere of the place is classic and beautiful. Because of the advance praise, we were very excited and full of anticipation. Unfortunately, these could not be met, neither in terms of the ambience with not very comfortable chairs and somewhat cramped tables, especially on the upper floor, nor in terms of the food. Although it was acceptable, it was not convincing in all parts, e.g. the side dishes. What was most annoying was that we were served lukewarm food on pretty battered stoneware plates and bowls. The tap water offered (filtered) for a fee was also not to our taste. We would have preferred mineral water for health reasons.
