"Wucherpreis beim Salat Roma!! Einige Kopfsalatblätter, ca. halbe Tomate, ca. halbes Ei, etwas Soße und noch weitere wenige Zutaten. Dafür 11,60 Euro. Materialwert ca Euro 1,50! Pizza geschmacklich nicht gut! Insgesamt war ich extrem enttäuscht! Nie wieder! Gastwirte mit unverschämten Preisen sollte man meiden! Hier wird der Kunde für dumm gehalten!"

"We were here on Saturday with 4 adults and 4 children. We were all very enthusiastic, the service was super friendly, and always happy to have fun. They responded to everyone and requests for changes to the dishes were no problem at all. Drinks were served quickly. The ambience is very inviting and cozy, inviting you to linger for a longer period of time. The food was very tasty and the price was completely reasonable. "General: Preliminary remark: On our bike tour through the north of Germany we visited a restaurant daily. Since we did not want to afford a culinary flop after exhausting days, we use RK to find the better locations of the respective destination. That is why the criticisms will also be somewhat above average. However, negative experiences did not last. The Hotel Sonne in Gersfeld was very positive from the start. Nicely located on the traffic-smoothed zone of the place it has a small but not necessarily cozy guest garden, which is sun-flooded in good weather until the early evening. Operation: The young lady took up our food and drinks very quickly, was friendly and accommodating. The dishes were brought quickly. We didn't have to wait long for the drinks too. Only when it was paid, the lady had to wait very long and had to be remembered. Food: A neatly filled menu offered many regional dishes as well as the usual carving options. There was something for everyone. On the one hand we chose a pig steak Copenhagen with cranberries and Camembert baked croquets and a ragout of mushrooms and cream on Rösti. Both dishes were very tasty prepared. The taste of the sauce at the pork steak harmonized very well with the baking and gave it a defensive note. The cook understands his craftsmanship and finishes it, also highlighting simple dishes tastefully. It is also worth mentioning that in the sun the hearty Kulmbacher Mönchshof Schwarzbier is presented by the barrel, which naturally fits perfectly with such a meal. With an amazing 25, euro for this food, an uncannyly good price performance ratio was also created The ambience: The hotel's restaurant area is quite attractive, but not really cozy. "Honestly, my friend and I cannot understand why so many 5 star reviews have been submitted. Maybe we were there at a wrong time. First to the hotel and the rooms. Of course, the hotel is not super modern, but clean and lovingly furnished. Our room was definitely renovated, but the bathroom was still in 70s style and very small. Let's go to breakfast. Yesterday we went to breakfast at 9:15. As breakfast is possible at 10 a.m., I believe there is enough. Unfortunately, the cooked eggs and tomato mozzarella and the stirrer were empty and were not refilled. Very bad, but otherwise delicious. We ate twice in the evening. On the first night, my friend ordered a court where they heard the cook say a few minutes later that he no longer has. He then ordered an alternative where the mirror was first forgotten. However, the cook has picked up this. I had ordered a dish with potato roast. These were also empty and there was an alternative. Later, I wanted to drink a wine choir, but not. On the second evening we tried again our luck and my friend joked that the court I had chosen certainly did not exist. I said to him that hopefully they have at least the broccoli and how should it be different? Instead of Broccoli, zucchini was on the baked dough. The waitress said they'd have to do it again if I don't like zucchini, but the broccoli would be out. Then we wanted to order a dessert, but the waitress unfortunately forgot us. Otherwise the staff was very friendly and always tried."
