"I have my partner for a bite to eat on a Saturday night to celebrate their 40th birthday. I can only say what a beautiful evening we had. the food was before place and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. this place is not a big place and is quite rustic in its facility, but has a relaxing chilled atmosphere. it is very cheap and the service for me was just right, not icy or slow. they also put candles on our desserts and took time to sing happy birthday to my partner. the tapas menu is not massive, which is a good thing and they also had a special board. support this small business, as these places in these days become rare, as big business and franchise restaurants can not match the personal eating experience of this small gemstone"

"Great! a welcome change to real food and service : Rooms: We stayed one night Twin room was great nothing too fancy floor was slightly uneven due to age and character : Room was above the bar which went silent at 1030. Clean comfy with all you need. We will definitely be back : Food drinks: Food and service was great! We found ourselves in the bar at 1430, where we relaxed and chatted over numerous G T's with nibbles until We had the excellent Thai Fish Curry, Chef Audrey, grinds and roasts her own spices and is a real food enthusiast. Breakfast was cooked to perfection, we regretted not leaving enough time to savor as we had an early meeting to attend. Next meeting will be later!"

"Never disappointed with food every plate that comes out the kitchen is well presented and looks amazing! Cakes are all homemade it’s difficult to choose between them.Their signature cinnamon buns freshly baked every day are devine thank god I don’t live nearer I’d be the size of a house haha On the odd occasion you can wait a bit longer for your coffee but that’s the only negative! "Service was great, albeit slightly overbearing with a continuous ask whether we were okay every 5 minutes. But the actual meal was extremely disappointing. For the absurd amount of money spent on basic 'Italian meals ', i.e., spaghetti bolognaise, homemade garlic bread, or even a pasta carbonara, I 'd expect to be wowed for restaurant quality. Yet I could have prepared the same meals for under £8 at home and been happier. However, if you 're going in for the chef special of fish on a stick, I suppose you get your moneys worth. Overall, I won 't be returning as the price doesn 't justify the cost quality of the meal, but I 'm glad to have tried."
