"I am Lebanese living in Paris. I was in Lausanne for my summer vacation and I wanted to have Lebanese food. I saw Keyann Café Resto Libanais on TripAdvisor and I was seduced. Well, all I can say is that it was a fantastic experience! I felt the Lebanese hospitality the moment I arrived. It was one of the best Lebanese restaurants I have ever been to in Europe. The food tastes as if you were having dinner in Lebanon; flavorful, fresh, delicious... I highly recommend this restaurant, coming from a Lebanese ..."

Exquis, comme d’habitude. Service courtois, présentation alléchante, goût exquis. Delicious, as always . Friendly staff, lovely presentation, and such good food!

My friend and I enjoyed a delicious mezze and Lebanese wine all recommended to us by the lovely waiter. One of our favourite places in Lausanne for a big group or low key catch up.

The good: the staff is friendly and the food is served fast. The bad: the food is average at best, the portions are rather small and the prices horrendous. I’ve failed to understand, how this place was rated the best among lebanese eateries here in town....

We keep coming back to the restaurant which we think is the best in Lausanne. Very friendly staff and also very welcoming. Fresh ingredients. They have plenty vegetarian options: delicious falafel, faster and amazing keyann potatoes. Also excellent for takeaway.

I was so disappointed in this restaurant. I really wanted it to be good, especially as I love Lebanese cuisine. The labne was actually a white cream cheese; the tabouli bland; falefals dry; and chicken shawarma was a tiny portion. I left hungry and disappointed.

Fantastic place, I return anytime. You feel like your eating home cooked food, grandma's recipes. Friendly service, great food, nice decor, shaded terrace.....Not to miss the homemade citronnade with fleurs d'oranger. Just perfect. And the desserts! At lunch a very price worthy daily special.

I am a Lebanese person, born and raised in Lebanon.. i can say, hands down, that keyann cafe is the most authentic Lebanese restaurant in the Lausanne area. The food is great with the taste and smell of Lebanon. The service is incredible. The owners are very hospitable and helpful. I highly highly recommend this restaurant to any person that wants to try the Lebanese cuisine in Switzerland as it portrays the food, culture, and the hospitality that could be found in Lebanon.

"Au Charbon is family managed restaurant, set in a pleasant and quiet part of Lausanne, easily reached on the bus, if like me, you are touring. The restaurant is ‘cosy’ and the owners have maximised the number of seats available, which sounds like me...spinning a cramped venue but it actually works out okay. We had sufficient room to relax and eat without imposing on our neighbouring tables, so the efficient spacing added to the atmosphere and the wine waiter added character. The restaurant has a traditional pizzeria menu with no surprises with the choice of pizza, steaks etc. All our choices were well presented, cooked exactly to request and delicious. Portion sizes were just right too On the down side, the table service was very slow, it took around an hour for the first course and one dish was wrong when it eventually arrived but we put that down to being busy. The lady serving was also a bit too presumptuous that the change from the bill would be her tip and she didn’t return the change, eventually coming back to confirm if this was so. In summary, I enjoyed my meal and time at Au Charbon, they seem to have earned their reputation from being consistent in serving nicely presented dishes that are cooked well. The higher end options are a bit on the pricey side if you are on holiday, especially when considering this is a pizzeria (a steak costing CHF). However most restaurants of this type in Lausanne are similarly priced and it is what it is."
