nice pub, really nice to eat. I had dirty fries and my friend had a speckkäseburger and were both really nice.

Do not eat here. The food was utterly dreadful. The burgers were served in burnt brioche buns and the burgers were poor quality and fatty, the other dishes were of similar quality.

Daughters order was wrong, replacement was poor. Toilets were flooded and had spilled into dining area, this had been the case for the previous 7 days yet nothing was done. Walking on a toilet water drenched carpet was not pleasant.

Please remove this restaurant from your database. They did not reserve us a table and left us stranded with four hungry children on Easter weekend. They could not have cared less when we arrived. I see from other reviews they do this often. What is the point??

No table was reserved despite me booking one via website. Staff said they do not reserve tables. Had to wait for a table to come available. Food average. Loud and full of kids families. Not a relaxing atmosphere at all. Not what we were looking for so wouldn’t return.

Excellent food and service was very polite by all staff who attended to us, was noisy however that’s not a criticism it’s clearly a very popular and well supported pub and restaurant which in the current market is nice to see. Will certainly be coming back again very glad we chose to come and dine here.

Have been before. But Oh how things have changed. Music so loud you had to shout to be heared. Food bland and luke warm. So very poor value. Before we went for meal tried to ring to book another night. But no one answered. Maybe they couldn't here the phone over the loud music. But shan't be going back anytime soon. Finally Ladies toilet closed told to use is this legal

Booked a table but the pub knew nothing about it as apparently under new ownership but open table bookings still controlled by old management. Not sure if this is to be believed …… Food was horrible, no ladies toilet as flooded so had to use the Mens. Disgusting. Staff trying to put a brave face on but definitely one to avoid. Such a shame as this time last year it was a great pub with lovely food.

Booked with open table who charged, to find out when we arrived they didn't have tables reserved. We were lucky as there was one table. We waited one hour and fifteen minutes for our food, which when it arrived was cold and just shoved on the plates. My Mother did not eat a thing. The manager was argonaut, rude, and seemed like he did not want to be there. But I will say the lady at the bar was friendly and polite. We will never be going into the Kings Head again.
