"Visited here recently. Husband had the steak and chips which were homemade and I had lasagne, garlic bread and a side of homemade chips. Absolutely piping hot, presented well and in good time. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. As a non-local visitor to the area we were made to feel so welcome. Thank you."

we love it here always busy which says a lot. staff are really friendly and can't do more for you. puddings are to die for especially the waffles. Lovely to see dogs are also welcome

Drove eight miles from Vauxhall camp site, as read the reviews and they looked good, on arriving at 7:50pm was told to order quickly as the chef finishes at 8:00pm, so ordered fish and chips, must Sat they was the worst I have ever had, wish I had gone to a chippy at Great Yarmouth now,

We stopped in on our last night of our holidays 2 adults, 2 teenagers, and 1 dog. Really lovely meal portions were very generous and everything was cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly and made all of us feel very welcome. This is a real gem of a pub and a perfect place for a tasty bite to eat.
