"this is a nice neighborhood pub that a welcome reize during our day to foot along the water of leith. the kinleith mill is immediately visible, as a step away from the flow path is, and it was great to see people who enjoy a more common in the sun. we decided to sit down as we wanted to eat and drink. we were a group of four friends and were quickly visited by the friendly bartender. we all ordered a sandwich with chips and a selection of pints to wash it. pints were cold and refreshing, really nice when a little expensive. the sandwiches also tasted good. high quality ingredients, good value and a beautiful atmosphere in which they enjoy. the place was busy on this Saturday afternoon, with many regular sitting in the bar with their drinks, but also many people for lunch. it is easy to see why, with the friendly atmosphere and the beautiful eating in the offer. I'm not sure how many times I'll be out here, but I'll definitely be back in when I'm recommended."

Lovely as always. Table of elderly men next to us were quite loud in their conversation!

We were very pleased with our lunchtime visit. We were however surprised to be placed right next to the only other occupied table in an otherwise empty Inn. Inevitably it is rather noisy in a bar where uncovered floorboards. CB
