"after several previous visits with a high degree of satisfaction, we visited the restaurant once again on 12 august and chose the 4-course surprise menu with weinbegleitung. to the aperitif (not included in the wine tasting guide) we got some fresh brot with oil, or butter and salt. the amuse -gueule, which is already common in many restaurants, dispensed with the kitchen and started immediately with a very fresh and tasty salmon carpaccio. the accompanying wine from the bretagne was interesting nothing-saying. the intercourse with squid also liked, here also the accompanying white wine. The main course, a traditional steak on a plentiful portion polenta with vegetables, was good kitchen, but without raffinesse and prompted my companion, as well as the dessert from vanilleeis with berries and a chocolate village, to the setting: "I could have cooked that too!" the South African red wine to the main course was ok, the dessert wine remembered more of a stomach bitter. The service was very attentive all the time and tried, despite the narrow of the small tables (no more interspace to the neighboring) and the volume.Factory: the surprise menu did not always surprise positiw. a high (precision) noise level and a strong tight one did not allow us to get comfortable."

Hamburg, a port city in northern Germany, is known for its maritime heritage, vibrant culture, and local dishes like Fischbrötchen and Labskaus. It's a blend of old charm and modern vibe.
