The worst chips I have ever tasted....was as if there was too much starch

Fish cake had quite a few bones in, usually pretty good from here so hopefully just a one off

Very nice fish and chips, probably the best in Pontefract. The only downside is the portions are very small compared to all other fish and chip shops.

The fish and chips here are excellent and come in generous portions! Additionally, the restaurant supports the Help For Heroes charity, which provides assistance to wounded veterans and their families.

The only decent thing was the fish, but the chips were pale and undercooked. The Knights of Pontefract seems to be on a downward spiral. Hopefully with some staff training, they can return to being the 5-star restaurant they once were. View menu
