"...after following their Facebook page there was no question where to have dinner. ...cozy tiny restaurant with Egyptian Street food as I know it from Alexandria...for sure a must go-to in Berlin and those Tamiya were as good as mine at home, but be aware if you are hungry you need to stop afterwards at McDonald's or similar and sadly way too expensive for the poor peoples dishes. 3 tiny Tamiya with a small scoop of salad and a tiny piece of flatbread for 9,90€...well...taste was good, but for sure not again and the pricing for such dish too exaggerated. I guess they are lucky that Berlin is a big city with many tourists and inhabitants otherwise in another city there were no future for them."

The small kushary was so filling and really tasty. The hawawshi was OK, I have had better hawawshi. I was too full to order the candied oranges and mohalabiya but the portion is too small and I think the fateh is over priced for 6,90€.

Fun little place with flavorful dishes at a great price point. Come here for casual, street-food vibes while sitting in their bustling place. They use organic ingredients, especially for their meat dishes and have plenty of vegetarian options as well.

Seat yourself. Grab a menu from the bar. Order the koshary. Pick up a Fritz-kola. Enjoy. It's cheap, they speak English, it's veggie/vegan friendly. Staff are cool. Food is served by the time you sit down. The only criticism is that the portions are quite large! 2 of us could have shared a large koshary and nothing else. Must visit!

Found it randomly, came back the next day to try more dishes on the menu! Special mention to the feekeh soup and the koshary dish (that gives his name to the place). All we tried was tasty, felt healthy, and heartwarming. Nice atmosphere, one of the rare place in Berlin where you can order tap water without getting looked upon. A great way to travel to middle east without leaving Charlottenburg!

Egyptian food restaurant that reflects the restaurant owner experience for years in Egypt. I’m happy that Egyptian food inspired him to start his own business. The staff are friendly and professional. Fritz soft drinks are too small for food portions. Kebda Eskandarani is made of chicken liver not Beef liver which is definitely not a Kebda Eskandarani recipe. Don’t order chips you will be disappointed.

I've been to Koshary Lux two times now and I really like the place. It is informal, relaxed and if you are in a hurry you can be in and out of this place relatively quickly due to the great service. The food is fresh, flavoursome and the large portions will fill you for the rest of the day. Prices are low, the staff very friendly and the place is great for vegetarians and vegans. I can't wait to go back!

We cannot rate this street food restaurant highly enough. The choice of dishes are amazing, we were able to enjoy beers and wine whilst dining. The service albeit counter, the staff could not have been friendlier and more accommodating, they were awesome. My wife enjoyed the Koshary special, two friends enjoyed the beef and I loved the sausage dish. We had pita breads and a selection of dips to start. We would definitely go back when visiting Berlin.

We strolled around Savignyplatz, looking for a restaurant, when this small place caught our attention. They serve oriental street food, and I just loved it. I had the Koshary, a mix of lentils, rice, chickpeas, with a tomato sauce and caramelized onions - delicious. Desert was Umm Ali, a delicious pudding. I had never had these combinations of tastes before, so this was a real find. Service was friendly and fast, and the whole setup very uncomplicated.
