"On a rainy afternoon after work, I walked to the cafe which I had recently read about. I am neither vegan nor vegetarian, but the sustainability message appealed to me. It was about 10 minutes from my place of work and I had walked around the area before, but I had somehow missed it. I was pleasantly surprised by the little garden alcove that serves as the entrance to the cafe, although I imagine it is even nicer when the weather is sunny. My immediate impression upon entering was how cozy the living room-like setting was. When you first walk in, there are an assortment of vegan and sustainably-sourced products including clothing, food and jewelry available to purchase. After I walked past the store, I walked up to the cafe to take a look at the various cakes available. (The dinner menu looked delicious, but I was only trying to get out of the rain and get a little work done.) I ordered a black currant-chocolate shortbread cookie (about the size of my out-stretched hand, so it was a good size) for less than €3. The cookie was so delicious that I would recommend it non-vegan friends as well. There was also WiFi access (WLAN) so I was able to enjoy my cookie while I worked for about 30 minutes. Overall, it was a welcome shelter from the rain and I plan on returning again often in the coming weeks."

Here you can find the best dessert, whether vegan or not. The main dishes are also very tasty, the teas are super beautifully fresh. Not all cakes are always great, but it's really great every week!

the crumble kitchen is a bit remote in high field, but it is worth it. a small load lovingly furnished from the toast market, surprised with many unusual details, such as wcs. the card is pure vegan and offers a small fixed card a changing week card. In addition there is a cake drink with tasty eggs. I've tried only the wedges so far, but these convinced mainly because of the mango-Mayo. View menu

We were in spring in the crumb kitchen to try cakes. Each cake was magnificent, so we had ordered two cakes with a total of six flavors for our wedding. At the wedding itself, all the guests were enthusiastic about the selection. But even in the crumb kitchen itself is good cake food, a large outdoor area, vintage furnishings, social games, good drinks and very fair prices. We like to come here.

I've been meaning for ages to write about how great this place is. A wonderful vegan restaurant run by a couple with passion and skills. The food is delicious, the toilets are set up like a Marvel comic, there are games consoles in the corner, there is a vegan grocery section and a corner in which local artists can sell their wares, and the restaurant holds frequent after-dinner events, with live music, poetry slams and stand-up comedy. I can only recommend that you make sure to check out this place if you are in the area - it will be more than worth your while!

in the crumble kitchen there is a living-room atmosphere with cozy sessels, music from the sound-plate player, and delicious homemade vegan food. on the solid card there are the best vegan burger wide and wide, sandwiches a spinatquiche (glutenfree!) and various petty things like salad, kartoffelwedges or sweet potatopommes etc. here you feel comfortable and it's more like visiting a house in a large living room than walking into a caffe. the personal is very nice, in summer there is also a beautiful outside area. There are also fantastic coffee and espresso from an Italian seven-carrier machine. View menu

I have visited Krümelküche a couple of times now and will definitely be back next time I'm in Duisburg! A fantastic restaurant with a small specials menu that changes every week, as well as sandwiches, desserts and drinks. There is also a vegan food and clothing shop stocked not only with popular vegan brands but also by local artists and designers. There is a great community feeling, and the decor is excellent; it's like walking into a Marvel comic when you visit the men's bathroom! There are also game consoles and there are regular live music, stand-up comedy and poetry events. The venue is run by a couple who pour all of their energy into making this place somewhere that people just want...

you can see about the not so great location in DU-Hochfeld and find the way into the vegan caffe, you have to like the barrier-müll concept of the load and can have little problems with an untreated, somewhat gloomy atmosphere. After we had set ourselves and waited for a few minutes on the (not available) service, we learned that you have to order and also pay at the theke. I don't like it. the somewhat chaotic team then still needs a very long time to bring even simplest ordering to the table. after all it is brought - only the cold drinks you have to get yourself out of the refrigerator. the food offer is manageable, but sounds good. Unfortunately, the ordered burger was not at the level o...
