La Bilancia - Menu

We visited La Bilancia again this summer. The food was as good as last summer, good antipasti for lunch, excellent pasta with ragu and cake wit coffee to finish. Recommended.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The ravioli was delicious as was the mushroom pasta. The house wine was the perfect addition to our meal. Good service too. Highly recommend!

we had a great time at La Bilancia. The food was perfect. Following the recommendations of the chief waiter proved wise and best of all , the staff was excellent with our kids who felt at home and welcome. We’ll be happy to come back!

Loved this local family run restaurant.. beautiful and tasty family style food at very reasonable prices… popular with locals which tells you everything you need to know about how authentic the food and service is.. will definitely return.

Don't be fooled by the finne dining label, that is just to describe the service, maitre D', linen cloth tables and the quality of the food....the dishes are all local using local ingredients and you don't want to use the menu to order! Accept the suggestions from your server or Maitre D and you will get the freshest pasta and meat anywhere! It is authentic Abruzzo fare in an elevated dining space, perfect for a special occasion or romantic dinner for 2! It's a great spot or weddings and large group events also for lunch or dinner.

What an amazing place this is , our daughter and son in law , held their wedding here ,along with their 40 guests who all stayed at the hotel for at least three days . The friendliness and professionalism of the staff was excellent and they all made this the most wonderful experience. To anyone thinking of having La Bilancia as a wedding venue I would recommend it 100%, the gardens were beautiful, the food was perfection, catering for several different dietary requirements , the hotel was spotless and very welcoming , with nothing being to much trouble . A special mention to Ute who made all of us feel so much at home , we just can’t thank you enough .

the balance for the premises know very well that it is a guarantee, after booking in advance we went to place. After all, we were accompanied by our table with highly professional staff. after the various greetings with the owners and the neighbors of table, the staff began to serve us. We held our wedding at the hotel and it could not have been more perfect for us and our 40 guests. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt like we were with extended family. Throughout the planning we had complete control and flexibility with wonderful guidance on Italian tradition. The hotel is beautiful and absolutely spotless. We were told to make it our home for the week and that is how it felt. The food is delicious and created with such knowledge and passion. The maitre'd at Taverna 58 was kind enough to suggest this restaurant to us. The drive from Pescara is beautiful, and the hotel/restaurant is in a gorgeous part of the countryside. Traditional antipasti were delicious and pastas were very rich, but fantastic. As an American, this felt like what we think of when we think of italian food. Rich tomato sauce, and very well made pasta. Communicating in English was easy enough, and really warm hospitality makes you feel welcomed.
