"Not realizing that it was nearly 2 o’clock, the magic hour when lunch is over in France, we stumbled into this amazing bistro by accident. The host was extremely gracious and seated us anyway. Even though his English was limited, he took the time to explain each dish on the menu du jour. I had a fillet of veal with mushrooms in a pastry crust with a delicious red wine sauce. The meat was cooked perfectly rare as I ordered. My husband had, what we suspected was veal mountain oysters in a luscious gravy with mashed potatoes. This we paired with a delightful house pinot noir. Even though they turned away others that came in after us, we were not rushed at all to eat up. We heartily recommend this restaurant, but during regular business hours."

Had a nice lunch upstairs surrounded by unique dog pictures dogs posing in Generals' uniforms etc. Fun place; nice friendly service. I had the rabbit terrine and andouillette sausage (with a nice mustard to cut the aroma) and a glass of minervois.

Just popped in here for breakfast but we were rather late (10:45) and all the croissants had gone. The very friendly chap said that he could make us a sandwich and what an understatement that was. Our sandwiches were delicious. My wife asked for mayonnaise with hers , which they made it fresh. A delightful French pavement atmosphere coupled with good food and very friendly service. We'll be back for dinner. View menu

Here is a very positive first review on the brewery of the post after several visits all more conclusive ones than the others. the welcome on the phone during the reservation is very pleasant and warm, it is the same during the arrival at the restaurant, typical bistro with a sunny terrace. the service is very courteous and the tasty cuisine, that say of the map of the wines really accessible and elaborated with passion and a lot of taste

we were 3 and we are feasted this day, from past to reims. tartare, lamb's u-seed cod back, the 3 dishes were succulent, the day's entrance with asparagus as well. desserts also, and all accompanied by a very good wine, and of course a champagne blow to the aperitif. very nice and dynamic service. a lot of inhabitants, so reputed to reims. It is recommended, and the terasse is nice, and apart from tourists, while being behind the cathedral.

"After a very positive first experience, we decided to renew. we enjoyed traditional fries, excellent (and copied) burgers and very good pastries after a reasonable expectation (1/4 h) being given the quality of the products, all for a very good value for money. What a disappointment during our 2nd visit! we waited 1/2h (more than in a classic restaurant, it's still a fast food). while a tabloid of about 10 other people, who arrived after us, were served before us almost without waiting. I was kind of worried about the hostess who tried to explain to me that it was due to the preparation of my wife’s day dish: a pike! being the exclusive user of barbecue and plancha at home, she should have refrained from using such a rude excuse. It was more simply a privileged habit that we do not wait...During this time, our meat had to wait (also...) on a corner of the grill since it was archi too cooked and then, not good. (Sauce was painfully masking the taste of burnt). Traditional fries have left room for classic industrials. The pie was missing freshness. Only the cheese cake was correct. We do not understand such a change in such a short time, especially when reading the Director's answers to certain negative opinions. but perhaps is he on leave? (when the cat is not there...). One last thing: the breathable hood must work very badly, you take the graillon out and go back to work in the afternoon, it's not great... we won't come back."
