"Not realizing that it was nearly 2 o’clock, the magic hour when lunch is over in France, we stumbled into this amazing bistro by accident. The host was extremely gracious and seated us anyway. Even though his English was limited, he took the time to explain each dish on the menu du jour. I had a fillet of veal with mushrooms in a pastry crust with a delicious red wine sauce. The meat was cooked perfectly rare as I ordered. My husband had, what we suspected was veal mountain oysters in a luscious gravy with mashed potatoes. This we paired with a delightful house pinot noir. Even though they turned away others that came in after us, we were not rushed at all to eat up. We heartily recommend this restaurant, but during regular business hours."

People who are fantastic. That was the food. We sat upstairs and on ourselves. While the company was great: we made our own atmosphere.

View menu

Had a nice lunch upstairs surrounded by unique dog pictures dogs posing in Generals' uniforms etc. Fun place; nice friendly service. I had the rabbit terrine and andouillette sausage (with a nice mustard to cut the aroma) and a glass of minervois.

Just popped in here for breakfast but we were rather late (10:45) and all the croissants had gone. The very friendly chap said that he could make us a sandwich and what an understatement that was. Our sandwiches were delicious. My wife asked for mayonnaise with hers , which they made it fresh. A delightful French pavement atmosphere coupled with good food and very friendly service. We'll be back for dinner. View menu

We were 3 and enjoyed this day, passing through Reims. tartare, cod back or lamb epigram, the 3 dishes were succulent, the day's entrance with asparagus. desserts, and all accompanied by a very good wine, and of course a cup of champagne with aperitif. very pleasant and dynamic service. Many inhabitants, so renowned for Reims. We recommend, and the terasse is pleasant, and far from the tourist flows, while being behind the cathedral.

It is recommended, and the terasse is nice, and apart from tourists, while being behind the cathedral.
