La Buvette - Menu

We had another delightful evening at La Buvette, with friendly and attentive service and delicious food as usual.

Our group of six had a fantastic evening at La Buvette. Each of us enjoyed our meals and the service was exceptional. I have consistently had wonderful dining experiences at this restaurant.

La Buvette (literally the bar is not somewhere you are likely to stumble across by accident: it is reached down a narrow alleyway, and is set next to the St Mary Magdelene church in between the Richmond bridge and the tube station. The ground floor din View menu

terrible service and average food. we arrived on time and were served, which could only be regarded as a thorough food. the bad point came when they refused to serve us dessert because they had another booking on the table. the way she was treated was shocking to say the least. will never go back there.

The changing menu at La Buvette always offers good value. We tend to mix items on the fixed price menu with the a la carte desserts. It was quiet but with a good ambience when we visited on a Tuesday. As the dining area is quite small, it can become a little noisy if most or all of the tables are occupied. The waiter seemed a little nervous, hence the score for service. The food as always was very good.

We really enjoy the Steak Frites at this restaurant, which is served with a generous portion of salad. As regular customers, we always receive a complimentary aperitif. They also offer free Baguette and butter. For dessert, our favorite is the Cafe Gourmant, a delightful combination of small desserts and a coffee of your choice. Although La Buvette is not inexpensive, we always leave happy and satisfied, making it well worth the price. View menu

have they ever felt that they could ask a burning question that they could not wait? so much that it was so awfully difficult to suppress. almost as bad as these times when they were stuck in the rear seat of a car during a long journey and then realized that they should have done something in the last pause.
