We have been here during our vacation. The food was better than we expected. From the outside it looks kind off old-fashioned, but the waitress was nice (old and friendly The fish was ok an the salad very good. All the desserts were home made. And there was a lot of choice like home made apple pie, tiramisu, panacotta, strawberry pie. Very nice.

Please note hotel closed, discovered at 9:30 p.m. after 2 hours of driving. The telephone number is not active and yet the hotel is on all the reservation sites on the internet. After inquiring from the neighborhood it has already been around 15 days since it closed its doors (it is 23/9/23) . It's unthinkable to find yourself in such a situation, Fallback solution (thank you children) in Biscarrosse (45 mins) at the Relais hotel (very nice) which has a face-to-face service at night to receive us late, thanks to them. Having read some of your other reviews I can only concur. Tremendous value for money and a chef who has a real passion for his food. The fact that so many of the clientele are daily customers speaks volumes. We have eaten there twice this week and both were excellent meals in different ways. The garbure is really tasty and not too filling as to spoil the rest of the meal. All the dishes we tasted were home made, including puds, and really flavoursome. Served in a friendly, family atmosphere, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Found it for my birthday meal just by chance and a bit of a nose and couldn't have dropped luckier.
