"Ha diferencia de otros restaurantes, por cada pedido para llevar te regalan los típicos entrantes(tostas de harina de garbanzos, salsa de yogur y menta, picadillo de cebolla). La comida deliciosa, con una carta muy variada, además la cocina es abierta, con lo cuál puedes observar la preparación de los alimentos, destacar el orden y la limpieza. Lo recomiendo al 100%."

"Today we have lunch in the bodeguiya, a restaurant on the line where you find a very varied menu with tapas, half rations and whole rations. We try several mountaineers (boil, puyol, ronaldinho. are some of them), the lobster horns, the cod tortilites and the Russian salad. Everything was very good and they brought us the food very quickly. We'll come back to keep trying the rest of the letter. Thank you!"

"I went with a group of friends last Friday at 8pm after a recommendation from a work mate in Gibraltar. I´ve lived in La Linea for around three years now, and none of us had been here before so we thought we would give it a shot. It´s a little off the beaten track but not to difficult to find. The Meson is divived into a tapas bar and a sit down restaurant, the latter of which is well looked after and where we decided to eat as there were six of us and it looked a bit cramped in the tapas bar. Anyways, the service was nothing special if I´m honest. We opted for some starters to share and then some main courses (see uploaded receipt for prices). The food was good, but it was more expensive then what we are used to paying in la linea. Once we divided the bill between 6, it came to 27 euros each, which is quite a lot given that we only had a couple of drinks each. Maybe I´m being harsh and unfairly comparing it to other places in La Linea, but after a big meal like this most restaurants offer some sort of shot of something like Pacharan, but not here, and as a result the general feeling of the group was the night here was okay, but we wouldn´t be coming back and it´s the first time in La Linea that we made a unanimous decision not to leave a tip! Maybe I´m being too harsh after just one visit. But the food didn´t stand out as anything special. But to be fair I will go back and try the tapas bar next time and leave another review."

"It is one of our mandatory stops every time we go to the line; I have already commented several times: a very wide menu, in which we can, or choose mountaineers and canapés to tape, of which there is a great variety, the vast majority around 2 €, or more consistent dishes for a more serious meal. On this occasion we decided on half a ration of cod croquettes, a Greek moaká, a slice of Creole meat, a chorizo criollo with spices and three montaditos: legs with garlic bread, antonio (pata, salmon, piquillo and roquefort) and parra (melva, fresh cheese, piquillo and garlic bread). with a beer tank and two soft drinks, an account of 27 € for two people. Although the prices are very cheap and the attention is good, I continue to resist giving you the five points for the same cause as in previous occasions: the noise and fuss in the local, which make the food not a hundred per cent pleasant experience."
