"This bar and restaurant is fabulous! Lovely cosy boutique style decor, fun staff and a lively (but not rowdy) atmosphere. Good choice of beers, wines and cocktails. (It's English owned by RudeChalets who also own the nightclub below, which we didn't try but my daughter frequented regularly)The bar area has a log fire for chillier days, a soft leather sofa and chairs with comfy cushions and fur throws. The restaurant was outstanding. We ordered a filet steak, honey and garlic chicken wings and 2 of us had the sticky rack of ribs. It was all very good ingredients, perfectly cooked. The ribs were delicious - loads of meat just falling off the bone. Highly recommended! The sides were delicious too - fabulous potato (or sweet potato) wedge chips which were crispy and baked in fresh crushed garlic cloves, herbs and sea salt. My daughter's chicken wings also came with a melted Camembert dip which was divine! We couldn't manage pudding after demolishing our delicious mains - but ones on other tables looked so good.We would highly recommend you try this lovely place - just at the beginning of the road out of town (as if you're going in Prodaines direction)"

This is a cozy little restaurant perfect for sitting by the fire with a lg glass of red wine. I visited here a few nights and every time the waiting staff were polite and friendly. I enjoyed the chicken burger and sweet potato fries it was a heartily size but I must admit I did finish it all. I would recommend a visit even if it's just to warm up next to the fire.. View menu

We were staying in RudeLodge so came here twice on two separate trips and would definitely come back here again. The menu is pleasantly short and all the dishes were great. We had burgers, steaks (including a hefty cote de beouf for 2 to share) half a chicken and a rack of ribs (definitely go for the full rack!). If I was being picky, I'd say that the chunky chips could have done with a bit more time in the oven to give them more of a crunch, but this is a minor quibble.Decor is very nice, the logfire and sofas are a prime spot for a pre/post-dinner drink and the service was consistently excellent (came here for brekkie each morning over 2 4night trips and dinner twice).Would definitely come...

We've tried a lot of Morzine restaurants already this season, and La Coupe, which we've visited twice now, is up there with the best of them. It's pretty new - I think it's a new incarnation of an older restaurant - and has such a lovely buzz about it. There's a big roaring fire with sofas to chill in, and the bar and restaurant have an equally relaxed feel to them. The food is really good too. 'Foodie' enough to provide relief from the usual mountain fare, but no foams, smears or art installations. I had a fillet steak which was perfectly cooked, and the double cooked chunky chips are AMAZING. (And I don't use capitals lightly!) I also had a fab margarita - never to be relied upon, in my ex...
