Daniella recommended the aubergine starter which she said was still in the oven, but would be ready very soon. It was to die for : I am hoping to get the recipe to try and replicate at home in UK.

We found this wonderful restaurant 11 years ago purely by accident. We said next time we are in the area we will come back Daniella and her husband have weathered the Covid storm and have come out on top. We had a great meal then and we had an even better one now The dishes are different and so wonderful not a thing could be faulted It was so much fun coming back and finding out that the restaurant has survived and such a great delight

Decided to explore the countryside around Lucca and settle on this restaurant for a Sunday lunch. The owners could not have been nicer and the food was wonderful. One of us got the special of the day friend chicken and vegetables. Both were light and perfectly seasoned, not greasy or heavy. The pork tenderloin with carmelized onions and roasted vegetables was also delicious and the pork super tender. Definitely stop by if you are in the area!

we had booked for 9 people on Sunday at lunch. the owners and staff have been able to meet all our requests. the already rich menu provided dishes of the day in addition. we have served promptly. portions were abundant, genuine food and very courteous staff. we have taken: homemade ragù tortelli ( thick pasta and filled with delicious meat;) delicious dish with light fried, medium cooking cut 700 g, carpaccio fillet, chips and baked vegetables and fries, aubergine terrine, apple pie, homemade ice creams and homemade limoncello. kindness and authenticity are the basic ingredients of this family-run restaurant which has now become a meeting place for our family. a guarantee with respect to pri...
