"I have eaten in this restaurant first, in which I have been up and down since then. it has changed a fair amount in the decor, but the menu is remarkably similar: hearty pasta dishes, and grilled meat are on the basis of the menu....I had excellent orchid with cima di rapa, followed by a horsewurst; my friends had grilled steak and a mixture of grilled meat with smooth vegetables. we drank foam water and excellent red pugliese wein. the waiting staff were attentive, smiling, funny, without ever being pushed. the bill for all of us came to euro for an excellent meal. my friends who spend many weeks in mailand will certainly return. I shouldn't check it because I like to stay my little secret cursed from mailand."

my wife and I feel like la giara is our home restaurant. Every time we return to milano at least once, we never regret it. typical pupilese cuisine, in a family restaurant that is always pleasing and always great. we are coming back!

Good heavens but how much you eat well! sliced, cheeses and under the strepitous oil, a coast so tender and tasty that really ever eaten, and the ears at the tops of turnip deserve a minute of silence. Congratulations, and we will see each other often!

historical place in Milan. small but very warm and welcoming. typical furnishings of a classic osteria of the years.the basic kitchen of the puglia: earrings with top of turnip, pasta and beans, pasta and chickpeas, pasta with lentils, etc. much of the choice also of grilled meat. our first excellent, especially small ears with rape tops. excellent also the quality and price ratio. very nice owner! excellent dinner in one of the historic osteries of Milan. excellent quality products.. from the burrata to the panzerotto, from the rape tops to the caciocavallo. plentiful and well performed portions (eye to the cooking of the ears. ) very good tarantine beer. unpretentious service, well done, with some anxiety of too much, probably due to the so many clientele. the right prices. we will definitely return to try the other appetizers of the menu

Apulian cuisine, the owner a nice gentleman very kind has been able to advise us with appetizers. the flavors are very similar to those of the products you eat in puglia (and I am Apulian. ) the very good stracciatella (and served at room temperature and not cold as often happens in restaurants,) vegetables under excellent oil. the good panzerotti but I would say a little different from the original. pasta with excellent buds, tender and tasty meat (if I have to give advice, I would serve it less cooked.) excellent desserts. to try the bitter of trulli

"Visited months ago The label of a vegetarian restaurant absolutely does not correspond to what Joia represents in the Italian gastronomic panorama. We are talking about the maximum expression of haute cuisine, overwhelming ideas, bold and unexpected combinations, exceptional raw materials, all served in an exclusive environment suitable for providing customers with a fantastic experience. Chef Leemann showed up in person to take the order and give his suggestions on the sequence of dishes. The service staff has always proven to be very prepared to answer all our questions or curiosities about the dish itself and this knowledge was not only the heritage of the waiter who brought the dish to our table and described it to us, but of all the staff who, even randomly, we stopped to ask for further explanation! The wine list was excellent from which we chose a Barbera d 'Alba by Bartolo Mascarello. But let 's get to the food. As entrees... and calling them entrees is definitely limiting! We were offered 2 wonderful tastings which unfortunately I cannot remember in their composition, but the first was a cream with carrot and rhubarb served in a mini terracotta vase, while the second appeared like a palette of colors where some fantastic raw materials sauces could be combined manually. My lunch then began with the Cantiam la montanara where, under a soft celery foam, there was a composition of green asparagus, spring onion and truffle on chopped borlotti beans. Fantastic dish, sublime with exceptional aromas!. I then continued with The navel of the world , a wonderfully plated dish where two types of rice are used, one as a base made with asparagus and watercress, and in the center a Venere rice cake finished on top with saffron almond cream . Finally I closed the lunch with a selection of 8 cheeses, some of which were truly exceptional, accompanied by jams/honey. Obviously the bill is in line with the proposal and with the experience. I must say that it was truly a pleasure and an honor."
