"Calamari was cooked in oil that must’ve been re used 1000 times too many. Lighting and ambiance, was way too bright. House special fish had very little, to no seasoning. Risotto was good, but lacked shrimp. Sea food pasta was ok at best. By the time dessert came around we just wanted the bill. Food quality, attention to detail poor."

great eating, impeccable service, especially the woman behind the bar/registration that went out of her to help us find a taxi!

Very friendly service and good food. A bit pricey for the over all setting. The location is obviously stunning the place itself a bit run down and not updated in a while. Looked better online to be honest. View menu

The food here was great and felt authentic. Wonderful homemade pastas and limoncello. Don’t skip the lemon cake dessert. Kind and accommodating staff. The restaurant looks out on a beautiful view of the sea, and best of all it was away from the crowded chaos of Amalfi while still being just as lovely.

Calamari was boiled in oil, which must have been used again 1000 times too many. Light and ambience, was too bright. House special fish had very little, no season. Risotto was good, but no shrimps. Sea food pasta was fine. When the dessert died, we wanted the bill. Food quality, attention to detail bad.

"I took my wife for a romantic dinner at her 50th birthday. Scarpariello Pasta and Seafood Caponata are my favorites If you are sitting at Baglio songs like Mambo Italiano and Nel Bu dipinto di Blu, you are in your head when you are in the heart of o’Sole mio. Baglio is a hidden Jem overlooking the most beautiful and exclusive bay of the Amalfi Coast, in the 50s only down Jackie Kennedy was sunbathing and now the latest hotel in the middle century of the Amalfi Coast shares the view. The restaurant is small, only a few tables (one available on a private balcony as an exclusive location for special celebrations), so also during the busiest time of summer here it is very peaceful. Romance was invented here and if you are lucky to come to sunset, you will enjoy something that will be hard to forget, and if there is a full moon, you will ask yourself, this is for real or it is just a dream. An interesting wine list with wines from all over the world, including Israel, Australia, USA and South Africa, as well as local delights, is the frame for a simple but very tasty menu where everything is prepared on site. Beautiful things are usually difficult to get, so do your homework because reservations and a small deposit are required and during the high season it is not easy to find a taxi to drive you there; if you have a car or a scooter, then it is all easier. There is a small parking lot and it is best to book a place just to be safe."
