the first time, after visiting the road of the Crete Senesi, we stopped by famine. explained our little intolerance problems have kindly recommended and served a tender vitella counterfeit with pecorino cream and julienne of crunchy artichokes. We wanted to repeat the experience 4-5 days later, while we dared from afar. small had changed as goodness, but in addition there were fried porcini pastries. very precise, attentive and friendly staff. reasonable prices. to return.

very large restaurant in the center of asciano, so much so that we managed to find place for 11 people in the week of August booking only a few days before. the location is very beautiful, surrounded by greenery. the waiters were all very kind, you see the experience and I do my compliments. the dishes are spectacular: I have croston with cream of sheep and crispy bacon was special. also the very good Florentine. we took 3 (1.5 kg/ 1) in 9. the total price was 45€ per head. only note, the covered of 3,50 € is a little high. even a celiac was present in the group. the restaurant has been completely provided to propose a wide range of pizza and pasta even gluten-free.

When we first entered the Restaurant we were told that we can only eat inside because the garden would be full. We even had a look at the garden and there were free tables left, but the waitress told us that these were reservations. We assumed that, because of the COVID-Situation, some tables also had to be kept entirely free. So we walked away and checked for other options for dinner. As it was already late and this restaurant seemed to be the best option, even when seated inside, we decided to go back there.
