"Came to this cafe, sat at a table in the open. It was 4pm, just in time for a Spanish lunch. We ordered from the English menu (impressive), got some croquetas, calamari and fried cod, served with about 10 French fries, tiny also! Anyway, the fish was good, beers were really chilled and of good quality. The table was set up with a paper cloth. Service was good. Price of beers excellent, calamari at 17€ maybe a bit overpriced."

Sitio acogedor, pero los calamares ni son calamares ni tienen buen sabor. Una pena porque el sitio merece volver por su encanto

Good food in Candas, near the harbour and cozy place in the town. Despite the food it was nice to get info about asturia from the owner.

Everything was excellent, food and service personal attention. The price was good, so was the wine. Food presentation was good and it was very tasty. Our server was very attentive and we were not rushed at all. We will come back!

"the restaurant gerardo casa is located in the Asturian village of prendes and closes on Mondays, nights except Friday and 15 days in January. the restaurant room offers place for 120 guests. It is a coquette room, very spacious, with large windows with a visillo. In its decoration the pastel shades predominate. This restaurant is one of the shrines of the new Asturian cuisine. We were taken by friends who often go to this place while they reside in the city where the series of the mother's doctor is filmed that was what led us to this place besides seeing these friends this business has opened many decades and the fruit of their dilated experience quality and mime all the details without getting anything out. In front of the business it has been found for many years pedro morán who inherited the business of grandparents and parents and who offers the comensal a brave and imaginative cuisine without them giving up such asturian roots. is therefore a restaurant where you can eat more than typical Asturian food. the basis of this culinary offer is the asturian but pedro has evolved and has achieved new textures, new flavors to surprise the palate of the comensales that sit at the table of their house. from your letter, careful and spoiled in the smallest detail I would like to highlight some of the dishes that we take at our dinner and that I have the most attention, namely: tempered rap salad. potato with cider vinegar jelly. beef morro with puerros. like dessert: rice ice cream with milk. chocolate canutillos with raspberry sauce. the wine menu is insurmountable, with all the country's name and wines of all the ranges of each of the so-called. I recommend the wines from the river bank of the owner. Service is the best I've ever seen. They don't have a detail and adapt the rhythm of the food you want. The waiters present the chef's creations to explain a little what he is eating and how some words have been prepared, it is not a discourse that bores the presentation and packaged is excellent, the dishes with beautiful design and medium-sized dishes that enhance the food portions. the price of a meal with wine of two dishes and dessert is about 50-60 euros per person. one of the great temples of the new Asturian gastronomy, we see you."
