I have eaten in many fine dining restaurants This was by far the worst meal I have ever had Tasteless Under seasoned Very overpriced

The whole evening was so good. Had 5 course taster menu with an additional cheese course. Excellent value for money, food exceptional quality and service professional, but friendly. Thank you so much for a lovely experience. Would recommend making reservation

A delightful restaurant serving delicious food perfect for celebrations with friends and family, dinners a deux or Sunday lunch. Lovely al fresco dining in the walled garden in the summer. This really is our favourite restaurant. The food is always delicious and the wine list reasonable for the quality of the wine. You always get a warm welcome. We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! My partner and I went here for Valentine's evening and we couldn't find a single fault. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like friends rather than just customers. Even though we had only dined here once before, we felt comfortable and welcomed. The food was exceptional - our starters and mains were absolutely delicious. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

The restaurant is extremely overpriced for the mediocre food you receive. The roast lacked fresh green vegetables, with only one carrot included. The potatoes were dry and overcooked. The starter took an hour to arrive and was overly salty. I would not recommend this place - save your money and dine elsewhere. Additionally, we were charged an extra £6 for extra gravy and only given a small portion for five people. The staff were friendly, but did not offer any appetizers while we waited for the starter. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Visited Saturday evening as a couple. Was absolutely fantastic. This is a beautiful restaurant both inside and out. The service was excellent, friendly, professional and attentive, but not overbearing. The food was excellent. The contrasting flavours and textures were sublime. Prices are reasonable when you take into account what you get fantastic location with parking directly outside, beautiful decor, white tablecloths, professional and friendly service, excellent freshly cooked food using quality produce. We're so lucky to have this restaurant on our doorstep. It may not be in everyone's price range, but if you like the finer things, then it's worth pushing the boat out. View menu

This French restaurant exceeded expectations with its lovely cuisine and charming ambiance. We came on Valentines night and the place was busy and we were well looked after by the front of house staff. The musical accompaniment was outstanding. Food wise, each dish showcased a perfect blend of flavours, highlighting the culinary finesse of which we had been recommended to us by friends. The attentive staff added to the overall delightful experience, ensuring a memorable evening. Words cannot describe how disappointed our party were with this restaurant. it certainly is not the restaurant. It was a few years ago where you were guaranteed to get good food and personal service. We went with friends for my birthday meal. We were taken straight to the table as there was no room to have a drink at the bar. Their didn’t appear to be anybody significant front of house – and considering the prices they charge. I expect a bit more fuss to be made. The menu is very limited and to be quite honest I struggled to find a starter that I actually would really like. The restaurant lacks ambience service and an interesting menu. A high class perfectly cooked meal with fine wine in stylish surroundings with impeccable service. Couldn’t really ask for more! The best in local casual fine dining with a contemporary French flavour. Booking was easy on line with a follow up mail to check for food allergies and if our booking was for a special occasion. It was a birthday celebration. A warm welcome on arrival , a drink by the bar whilst we checked out the menu. We opted for the A La Carte but there were some appealing dishes on the menu for the week with great value two or three course options.
