"I must tell you, o eaters of good food, of a wonderful and new fish restaurant in the town of Orvinio, Rieti, Lazio, Italy that opened in April of this year. Eating here is just as exotic and tasty as any of a number of cosmopolitan restaurants in Tokyo, London or Singapore. That is to say, the 9 table locale with outside seating and two levels inside serves some of the most innovative fish dishes I have ever tasted in my 50 years of eating out. My husband and I have tried many dishes on the menu along with wine and desserts and we have been Wowed. Spigola (a sea fish) with green olives, manicotti, orange juice, salmon coated with pistaccio served with a mixed greens salad, fritture of seafood served in a wire basket, sauteed mussels just as in Amsterdam with juices and crusty bread....yum, yum, yum. The cook and the servers all work together to ensure that the food is brought out right away and you must try the Vermentino wine which is light and leaves no headache afterwards. The potatoes fried are sliced and fried at the moment and all of the tastes complement each other. We were well fed for 62 euros for two for a Sunday lunch, including a chocolate pear tortino with fresh cream and homemade ice cream. Ristorante La Ripetta is open only 3 days weekly: Friday, Saturdays and Sunday lunch at 1 pm. 'Betta, the proprietor, a soon to be mom, is gracious and charming as owner/server. For conneiseurs of fine food, this hole-in-the-wall should be on your to try list. Baci a tutti!"

Che spettacolo! Oggi a pranzo una vera sinfonia. Ci serviva un pranzo con gli archi visto il freddo in movimento! posizione, servizio, piatti. Va bene!

Uno dei migliori ristoranti di pesce mai provati. In una location incantevole e a pochi passi da Roma, ai piedi di un castello per degustare dagli antipasti ai secondi a base di pesce fino ai dolci e al vino. Da tornarci più volte per assaggiare tutto!

What a nice find in a small town like Orvinio, when you are in a very rainy day in the middle of the autumn season. Tidy venue, pleasant and dedicated service, pretty good food (mainly fish based courses), and more. Lovely accommodation in a cave like hall.

This is a magnificent fish restaurant in an area better known for meat restaurants. Menu is diverse, food is beautifully prepared, and the fish is fresh and cooked to perfection. We went twice, in two consecutive weeks, and will go back soon. Highly recommended

Un ristorante ottimo noi veniamo da Roma per mangiare lì. Tutto eccellente . Il top e la sbriciolata frutti di bosco. Il prezzo è abbastanza salatino ma vale la pena. Questa volta mi hanno dato un tavolo di fuori bene fresco. L unica cosa che mi ha intrigato è stato il fatto che siamo stati osservati delle persone della zona mentre mangiavamo. È un episodio inedito stavamo seduti mangiando una anziana dalla porta ha chiamato mio marito per aprire la porta a lei. Noi nn abbiamo veramente capito. La ragazza che faceva la cameriera invece di intervenire perché siamo un cliente) se gira e dice a mio marito . Deve dare una mano alla signora che nn riesce a aprire la porta. Ma io sto in un ristora...
