"After 10 hours of travelling from Scotland, this wasabi glorious finishing point. We had chosen it from Trip Advisor as we were staying in the area, a 10 min tram ride from central Lille. There was a delightful canapé of a tiny square of croque monsieur made with chorizo, and an amuse bouche of a croquette with smoked ham. As a starter I had an exquisite combination of lobster, scallop and truffle. My husband had oeuf en cocotte forestière, which looked lovely. For a main course I opted for fillet de boeuf so tender a butter knife would have done. He had veal kidneys equally well done. We didn't have desserts. The total cost was €130, but that included 2 glasses of champagne, 2 Menetou Salon and 2 of Burgundy. We walked back to our hotel, very content."

We came here based on the reviews and the experience was really good! The chef came to the table himself after the meal and gave our 2 year old s chef hat and allowed us to take photos with him! The food was top class and the service superb!

We really enjoyed our evening. Very attentive service and excellent food. The wine list is extensive and able to find a good value wine for our party. Would definitely like to go back in the future and will recommend the restaurant to our friends.

We chose this restaurant because of the number of positive reviews and we were certainly not disappointed. We were the first to arrive at 20.00 but the restaurant soon filled up. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. A glasses of champagne to start with gave us time to consider the menu and enjoy the 2 amuse-bouche. I had the egg cocotte followed by kidneys both very well cooked and presented. My wife had lobster and scallops followed by fillet de boeuf again well cooked and the beef very tender. They serve wine by the glass the menetou salon was good but the givry was average. The total cost was €130 which I thought was slightly topside but probably worth it.
