La Scala - Menu

La Scala was recommended to us so we were really looking forward to going . We were greeted by a very friendly waiter . The meal and atmosphere made for a lovely evening .

We had walked from Folkestone and found this lovely restaurant. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff and enjoyed a superb meal. Soft, pleasant music. Rest room immaculate. Highly recommended !

We had a very pleasant evening here. The restaurant was fairly quiet but still had a nice atmosphere. We ordered a steak a lamb dish, both cooked just the way we asked for, both superb. Would certainly recommend going. View menu

I hadn’t visited here for a few years as I’d moved away. I went with a few friends celebrating a birthday. We had a warm welcome and the food was superb. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely be returning and recommend to...my friends and family

we visited on Saturday, 6 november no longer since over two years due to some bad experiences. I think it's safe to say that they're definitely back in shape. the food was delicious and the service was exactly as they would expect...excellent all our favorites were still on the menu and all at a very pleasant evening. we'll be back soon.

after dover this charming little restaurant moved a rainy day. I had a delicious pfeffer polpo tomato starter with crusty brot to clean the juices. it followed a creamy calfsal and mushroom main. if that was not rich enough: I asked. if they could deliver a selection of cheese. the cheese selection was a spirit that blows in size and taste. all washed with an excellent cooled white. when the bill arrived: I was very surprised how reasonable it was. this will be a weekly fixation. We have recently moved to Dover from London and was looking at this restaurant and a number of others for associates coming down from London to eat on their way to the continent. The starters I had the mussels were exceptional. My husband’s mushrooms were...average. I then had the lamb rump , it was sinew and fat. My husband he ad the chicken and it was nice. I did remark that it was fatty and left most of it but told the chef could have cooked it more. I asked for medium, I think if he had cooked it to a cinder it would have made no difference!

we went to my birthday last night, where I had ordered the cuddles for my starter and they were out. they were not helpful at all, they gave me no choice of having something else. I then had the seafood linguine for mine. main meal and they had the clams in that so again I told them they were gone, they were not only interested to say that it was not, but they would not smell to taste them. they took it away and again I was offered nothing else, so I sat all night with nothing to eat. my men and brothers eat missing items from them. after this experience, I can honestly say that I will never go back. the service was bad and the food was disgusting. £130 that I'm not happy to pay for me could...

3 of my friends ordered the same thing. Mixed meat grill. Presented nicely, but unfortunately that's where it all went wrong. We all had the same issue. I spoke out. I asked if the sausage was ment to be pink? Was assured it was. We...was not particularly happy. I cut into my lamb. It was raw. When I passed comment to the chef and owner, he came out and said it was fine, then to prove it he ate the sausage from my plate, and asked if I was qualified to eat' I kid you not the chef said and did this! I was a little perplexed by this show, as I had not seen that before..... he said it was pink because it was homemade. Pink pork? I am a little sceptical.....They then hurried us out of the door b...
