"We found this restaurant by chance whilst strolling through the town centre of Capolivery. We already enjoyed a dinner in this pitturesque hilltop town a year previously and we were on the lookout for something different untill we stumbled apon this location. A wonderful location in via Mellini which gradually slopes downwards. The menu was written on a blackboard which moved along the tables with newly arrived diners. We opted for the prawns and fiori zucchini (courgette flowers) cooked in squid ink, hence the black colour, a mixed fried seafood and a tomahawk (rib of Irish Angus Beef) 1,15 kg, which was presented to me before being grilled to perfection. This was accompanied by a glass of proseco and half a bottle of local Morellino wine This Tuscan Sangiovese was a perfect companion for the beef. For dessert we opted for a tiramisu and a digestive with coffee. A memorable dinner in a quaint setting with excellent and attentive service. To be strongly recommended!"

"We visited the place with another family, 4 adults and 5 teenagers. Cooking is excellent, but not for a family budget or the hunger of teenagers. No „vino di casa“, no pizza, pasta portions meager. Excellent fish preparations, but small portions for big prices. If you like exclusive food and can afford it go there. But surely the wrong place for families with kids. By the way: The fish ordered came right away, the potatoes 20 minutes later... Grappa and lemoncino were offered. 120 € for 5, all went home hungry because we couldn’t afford the quality."

"Ottimo! Amazing! Great food, fresh ingredients and exceptional experience. Highly recommend for everyone. We ordered a special of a day Gniocchi con tonno al lime and secondo piato tagliata di tonno, and for drink white wine Vermentino from Elba. The best gniocchi we have ever eaten! Tuna was perfect, not overdone. The second time we took spaghetti con vongole, polopa con patate and per dolce tiramisu and cheescake. Regarding the service, I wish I were born in Italy to have their self confidence, interpersonal skills and the way of life!"

"In una precedente vacanza di molti anni fa questo ristorante mi aveva lasciato un’ottima impressione e per questo motivo, nel corso del nostro ultimo soggiorno, ci siamo tornati. E non ce ne siamo sicuramente pentiti, tant’è che ci siamo stati due volte. Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo la gentilezza e cortesia del personale, compresa la proprietaria milanese, oltre all’ottima qualità dei piatti di pesce assaggiati: alici diliscate, impanate e fritte, fritto di paranza, grigliata mista. Inoltre bruschetta, zucchine fritte in pastella, verdure grigliate, focaccia liscia come pane. E come dolce tiramisù e millefoglie crema chantilly e fragole. Tutto veramente squisito. Amaro e limoncello offerto dalla casa. Rapporto qualità prezzo molto buono. Entrambe le volte abbiamo cenato nella loro cantinetta, ottima soluzione fuori dalla confusione e dalla calura."

"ottimo ristorante di pesce (molto buona anche la pizza con splendida vista sulla stella del Golfo. antipasto mare con molti gusti, tutto molto buono. piatti semplici e curati, porzioni abbondanti, anche ottimi dolci fatti in casa. servizio molto cordiale, le ragazze che la gestiscono ti fanno sentire a casa. Anche se abbiamo visto il casco da anni è la prima volta che veniamo qui e siamo stati piacevolmente sorpresi! Congratulazioni, lo consiglio vivamente!"
